Confirmed holiday
10 spots available
Have you ever participated in a ONE WAY sailing holiday??
It's one of the most beautiful adventures you can experience, because in just one week you can visit so many beaches that would normally require at least a two-week vacation.
All this without ever going back to the same places!
For this occasion we will sail between the islands of the Pontine Archipelago (Ponza, Palmarola and Ventotene), the Gulf of Naples (Capri and Ischia) and the Amalfi Coast; last stages of our journey will be decided according to the weather conditions.
The meeting is scheduled for Saturday 26 August in the port of Nettuno (RM), where we will do a small briefing and build up the galley list.
The departure is scheduled for 18:00 with the direction of Palmarola which will be the first stage of our holiday.
PLAN:
Boarding in the port of MARINA DI NETTUNO
Saturday 26: departure at 17/18 from the port of Nettuno, direction Palmarola. It is advisable to arrive around 2.30/3.00 pm to have time for a small briefing and to build up the galley list. The overnight stay is foreseen at anchor.
Sunday 27: we will spend the morning in Palmarola diving into the crystalline waters of the island, with a visit to the Grotte Del Mezzogiorno and some well-deserved relaxation. In the afternoon we will sail towards Ponza; the overnight stay will again be at anchor at the Frontone.
Anyone who wants can go ashore to visit the island.
Monday 28: after a hearty breakfast on board, we will set course for the natural arch of Ponza.
The Natural Arch, also known as "u'spacc purp", is about 30 meters high from sea level and has an opening base of 7 meters. The depth varies from six to three meters. Tradition has it that when you cross it by boat you have to make a wish and it will come true. It is inaccessible by land.
In the afternoon we will sail towards Ventotene; the overnight stay will be in the old Roman port, characteristic for its small shops carved into the rock and for the typical flatbread filled with octopus.
Tuesday 29th: Departure in the morning towards Ischia.
We will drop anchor in the bay of Sant'Angelo; here we will stop for the whole day, we will have a nice lunch on board and there will be the possibility to go down to visit the island.
The overnight stay is foreseen at anchor in Ischia or in the bay of Coricella in Procida.
Wednesday 30: Awakening like real sailors in Coricella bay; the most beautiful and characteristic place on the island, in the colorful fishing village of Corricella, with its small port, fishing boats and its 18th century architecture, the small colored houses arranged like a crib from the top of the hill to the sea where the characteristic fishing port develops.
Based on the weather, we will decide whether to stay overnight in the port or at anchor.
Thursday 31st: Direction Capri, day at anchor at the foot of the majestic Faraglioni and in the evening we will go ashore to visit the island.
Known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean, Capri is one of the most enchanting islands in the world: a small paradise on earth located in the heart of the Gulf of Naples, which attracts millions of tourists every year.
The overnight stay is foreseen at anchor to enjoy the spectacle of dawn at the Faraglioni the next morning!
Friday 1st: We will sail towards the Amalfi Coast; the stage will be decided according to the weather conditions.
At 18:00, alas, we will have to enter the port for refueling operations and first check-out.
The overnight stay will be on board and we will have a dinner all together in the port of Salerno Marina D'arechi.
Saturday 2: 09:00 check-out. The landing will take place in the port of Salerno Marina D'arechi.
