Confirmed holiday
5 spots available
The crew is made up of a couple accustomed to sailing the seas of the globe .
On board a boat of over 16 meters with only a maximum of 5 passengers equipped for navigation on high seas, with oversized spaces and limitless comfort , you will receive the welcome of a 5-star hotel : once on board, after having , we will take care of the kitchen: you can think only of your relaxation!
On board you will find experience, professionalism, culture and your children's friend.
You will sail on the sailing ship where Fidel and Raul Castro sailed! A piece of history, beautiful and perfectly maintained. You have three possible itineraries, all starting from the ultra-modern Marina di Arechi , reachable by underground from the Salerno train station or with the port shuttle that picks you up at the Salerno station. The marina is equipped with every service.
Anyone wishing to book a port along the route must do so when booking their holiday, berths are few, coveted, expensive, and it is not always possible to moor at the quay. However, the tender will always take you ashore.
The itineraries are not inviolable, they are proposals that we will discuss on board without losing sight of the weather conditions that always dominate.
The first two itineraries include the Amalfi Coast, Capri and, if desired, Procida and Ischia.
The Amalfi Coast extends along the north side of the peninsula which frames the Gulf of Salerno and on the south side seen from the Gulf of Naples. The very high coast is the backdrop to the rock theater and low vegetation, interspersed with wonderful coves and beaches. The majestic scenography is enriched by picturesque villages of colored houses and terraces , perched on the slope: the most famous are Positano and Amalfi , but each village has its own history and beauties. The coast seen from the sea offers all its spectacularity! Getting there by boat avoiding the infernal car traffic of the coast is a mythical experience! You can enjoy the beauty of the landscape while tasting the local seafood specialties in the typical restaurants finishing with a limoncello , which has its homeland here without standing in line!
The first stop of the navigation is the spectacular Cavallo Moro beach where you can take the first refreshing swim to continue towards Amalfi , the most important center of the coast where you can moor at the tourist port or anchor just outside it. Amalfi, a UNESCO heritage site, is the historical testimony of the oldest (and smallest) Maritime Republic, which had its apogee in the 11th century. Among the intricate alleys, the Naval Museum in the Vecchi Arsenale is worth a visit and at the top of the monumental staircase, the beautiful Cathedral in Arab-Sicilian style with adjoining Gothic cloister.
Continuing the journey will take you to splendid coves, the emerald cave and the extraordinary Fjord of Furore (one name, one program!). A tiny cove that goes very deep, surrounded by very high rock walls. Here Roberto Rossellini was bewitched by the landscape, he shot the film L'Amore there in 1948 and lived for a time in a small house together with Anna Magnani. To visit the mini fishing village with dry boats you need to anchor offshore and arrive by tender. Continuing on the subject of baths, we find the caves of Supraiano . After swimming, evening in Positano , one of the most famous destinations in the Mediterranean. The view from the boat is superb: the houses perched vertically give it the appearance of a crib. You can moor at the large buoy field (which offers free taxi-boat service to land) or anchor in front of the nearby beaches of Laurito or Vetica. The visit on foot impresses with the slope of the streets, always winding along the wall and often terraced. There are many luxury boutiques, excellent craft shops, glamorous bars and restaurants on scenic terraces and a small beach. You can visit the Saracen Tower and climb the Path of the Gods from which the panorama is impressive.
The journey continues meeting the beach of Tordigliano, the fjord of Ciapolla, the spectacular beach of Roccomone . The continuous high and rocky coast, the sea is of an enchanting color and Li Galli extend off it, three tiny islets with a mythical past (sirens were believed to live there). You can't moor, but only the view from the outside is enchanting to reach Marina del Cantone, a large beach sheltered from the wind, in front of which you can moor to the buoys that the restaurants offer for free if you go for dinner (and it's worth it!). The peninsula ends with Leranto, an enchanting inlet which is part of a protected park.
Leaving the coast, a small navigation leads to Capri . In Capri it is possible to go to the port, the costs are crazy. Even disembarking in the port with the tender is madness and could perhaps cost €100! Still, maybe it's worth it. Capri is Capri, who likes it. You can also spend the night at anchor under the Faraglioni and it's worth it!
For those who want, option 2 of the trips, skipping a few visits to the coast, will take you to Procida , or to the marina or anchored at Corricella. The Corricella seen from the roadstead is a sight not to be missed! The houses piled up and merged in the extreme slope of the fortress, their colors, the old port with the restaurants and the "postman" restaurant with the photographs of Troisi. A walk in the village and a visit over the hill to Procida will leave you with the indelible memory of a true Neapolitan seaside town. The rum babas on the new port are excellent. Not to be missed!
To breathe the chic air of Ischia, very different in scents from Procida, we will go to Sant'Angelo, where thermal baths have existed since Roman times. Beautiful beach, "Ischiano" village, small port, beautiful sheltered bay and with a good holding bottom. Do not miss the walk on the hot beach, looking and not touching, so as not to end up like the potatoes and eggs that the islanders bury to collect them cooked for free.
Too bad that, albeit quietly, it's time to go back to Marina d'Arechi!
The option of the third possible itinerary , on the other hand, envisages navigation along the wonderful coasts of Cilento : between long uncontaminated and sparsely populated beaches, towns with an ancient history, typical and cheap restaurants where you can taste truly excellent typical dishes.
