This experience, in a nutshell

Mangeremo in navigazione e arriveremo verso le 16 all’arco naturale.

Since I first tasted the sailing holiday I realized that I could no longer do without it. Specifically, this holiday was characterized by a really competent and helpful captain (Andrea) as well as a crew that tacitly divided the various activities. It was a shame not to be able to see Capri but the mere did not allow it. The other wonderful islands! The clean and spacious boat with a super equipped kitchen where our lovely Carmen prepared many good dishes! An experience that I recommend to everyone at least once in a lifetime!

Good morning, unfortunately my assessment cannot be positive. The organization was quite approximate as a boat was rented and a skipper was recovered who had never seen either the places or the boat and practically we never interacted with the other boats in the flotilla. I was also disappointed by the beautiful places, the villages, but a little disappointed by the sea, I thought it was more beautiful, perhaps because in beautiful places such as chiaia di luna or the blue grotto we did not go and in Palmarola instead of docking in front of a beach we went in front of a stretch of high coast with not even a insenatura.la new boat in some ways even beautiful in my opinion it was for six people not for 8, considering the cost I think the bunk bed is not adequate because in the upper part the space in height is less than 40 cm. FORTUNATELY THE TRAVEL COMPANIONS WERE WONDERFUL. This is my second holiday with sailsquare, very good the first but very bad the second. I hope my review serves to improve Greetings

Simply unforgettable experience. The Flotilla was able to form a fantastic group with whom I spent beautiful moments in equally beautiful places. A special thanks to our skipper who made us enjoy the holiday to the fullest by making us have fun and at the same time teaching us the basics of sailing with a sailboat. It made us feel comfortable even though it was their first boat experience for many. We sailed in complete safety whenever the weather allowed and bathed in crystal clear water. I highly recommend the experience for those who want to spend a week of lightheartedness and fun pampered by the waves of the sea.

The truths without secrets that everyone is ashamed to tell to make a good impression in reviews. I will limit myself to talking about the holiday just taken, because Sailsquare, in itself, needs something exclusively dedicated, and it is not all roses and flowers. I am also sorry that the agency with which I traveled takes the outburst accumulated in recent years that I have always kept silent, since I found myself better than other times. It is inappropriate that the organization, (as always happened) chooses and decides the division of the crew into the flotilla boats without knowing anything about the participants and without even a previous individual cognitive test, as has also happened to me on other occasions with different organizers. You can be lucky, but most of the time it is not certain. Maybe first someone who already knows each other and who requests it is brought together, and then puts the leftovers all together, with nothing in common. This is decisive for the progress of the whole week, and those who then say "we will always be all together" are not credible at all. In fact, it is already clear that it will be the opposite. At least on this occasion the composition and choice of rooms was free, even if dictated by the first grouping in the boat, already pre-established. I enjoyed the holiday. Interesting experience overall. The bad weather of the last few days has ruined some plans. I am very satisfied and relieved by the pleasant people who were part of my crew unlike other experiences lived on the boat, and there are still those shortcomings that make you think, including... the "fiesta" in the boat where you would have liked to be, with people with whom you would have liked to share more than brief fleeting encounters, during the few disorganized stops together, and consequently I was therefore disappointed that the flotilla was NOT really a flotilla, also determined by the skippers who did not favor the meeting and the meetings with all the participants (who else should have done it?), thinking only of one's crew, and among other things also mooring too far away in the roadstead day and night (since in the port you cannot choose the place), leaving and arriving at different times, sometimes avoiding going ashore or meeting all together, as well as sailing, proposing and promoting the meeting starting from the simple group dinner. Events that happened ONCE in a week do not make these a peculiarity, because it was a daily and continuous expectation. And if someone is okay with it, because he left with the intention of seeking tranquility, he could easily have chosen from the hundreds of proposals without a flotilla with 3-4 people on the boat. In the same way as those who want to appear in a group photo and force others not to post it on social media because they don't want to be seen. Everyone thinks these things, but no one has the courage to say them unlike me. The use of the tender, included in the very expensive starter pack, could have been used more than once throughout the week. I don't deny that the skipper was capable and funny, however he should have pleased the crew and not kept us segregated on the boat away from anyone just because he didn't want to get out of it, being aware in the meantime of the other crew going ashore. Of the people of the other crews present I have absolutely nothing: no bonds, faint memories, very brief experiences lived together that could not be deepened for what has just been said. Leaving aside the costs of travel to reach the place of departure (plane, train, bus, car) as in all holidays, on the boat the expense becomes extremely excessive (referring to all the experiences proposed by the site): it is like paying € 1000 for a week in a 5-star hotel without having (and having to pay a lot to get them) sheets, towels, room cleaning, no meals, and every time you want to sleep at night in the bed you have to pay to do it (in port), except if you sleep on the ground (in the roadstead). The crews of the boats as if they were on different floors of the hotel (on the first, fifth and tenth), not connected to each other and only the skipper with the keys to the elevator, unless you climb from the outside (i.e. you reach it by swimming, but how do you do it at night?): our skipper preferred to stay on his floor. I say this for all the initiatives: it is ridiculous that in addition to the initial expense you still have to add money to have sheets, towels (by the way always stained), final cleaning, meals purchased and cooked by yourself, fuel, moorings at the ports. The price for joining the experience is far from irrelevant, especially choosing the flotilla vacation, and a person chooses the flotilla to do the vacation in a group and especially WITH the group, rather than just with the few fellow travelers they already see 24 hours a day. I also seemed to have understood the presence of a quota made available for unforeseen events that should have been used to pay for the additional night in the port where we stopped a second night due to bad weather, but there was no mention of it at the appropriate time and not even later; as well as a deposit that would have been returned in the absence of damage to the boat: who has talked about it anymore? Where does this money go?
