DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 – Saturday: After the check-in on board at the Pozzuoli base (18:00 / 18:00), we will sail for only 06 miles arriving in Corricella bay in Procida. The bay is famous for its village with houses built on top of each other and next to each other forming a block of different colors. The village is known to be a cheerful place and offers a breathtaking view, especially when the sun shines on the colorful houses.
It is possible to enjoy an aperitif or dinner or stroll through the main village only via stairways and meandering passages, up to Terra Murata or Casale Vascello. Dinner on board and night at anchor in the bay.
Day 2 - Sunday: After a dip in the sea and a typical Procidan breakfast (“lingue al limone”), we head towards Ischia, the largest island in the Gulf of Naples and a renowned coastal resort, passing close to Vivara, connected to Procida from a bridge. This island hosts a nature reserve with rare plants, rabbits and birds. After a navigation of 8 miles we will arrive at the bay of Sant'Angelo and the Maronti beach. Surely the bay is beautiful, but don't miss a visit to the small fashionable village or the Fumarole beach which can be easily accessed via a small path that starts from the heart of this village.
Around 16:00 the catamaran will move to a bay near Ischia Ponte (4mn from Sant'Angelo). Ischia Ponte is famous for its medieval castle which overlooks the bay below (Castello Aragonese). A dinner on a boat under the castle and a walk through the shops of Ischia Ponte will be an unforgettable experience.
Day 3 - Monday: In the morning we set sail for 19 miles from Ischia to Capri. See the island's Faraglioni, visit the Blue Grotto and see the amazing color of the water as the sunlight hits the caves. Tour of the island, passing near the famous lighthouse and stop to enjoy the atmosphere in Marina Piccola.
Landing on the most famous concrete pier in the world, don't forget to visit the village of Capri and its narrow streets full of shops, La Piazzetta, Via Tragara, Via Camerelle etc. Every day, celebrities from all over the world land on this pier from their maxi yachts.
Day 4 – Tuesday: Passing between the Faraglioni, we will head towards the Amalfi Coast where high mountains, with particular colors, overlook the bays of Nerano, Positano and Amalfi. After sailing 8.5nm, you will swim in the deep waters of Li Galli. The Li Galli islands, the three rocky and solitary islands (Gallo Lungo, La Castelluccia and La Rotonda) located a few kilometers from the beach of Positano, are reflected in the clear sea facing the Amalfi Coast. According to ancient legends, they were inhabited by sirens who seduced sailors with their melodious voice: they lost control of their ships which inevitably crashed on the rocks of the islands (this is a clear mythological transposition of the dangers during navigation). The last inhabitants of these islands were the choreographer Léonide Massine (who built a marvelous villa here, on the remains of an ancient Roman villa, subsequently decorated by the architect Le Corbusier) and the dancer Rudol'f Nureyev.
Short navigation towards Positano, 4.5nm. Stop in Positano where the undisputed beauty of the landscape has contributed to making Positano and the Amalfi Coast famous throughout the world. In Positano, don't forget to buy the fresh linen clothes in "Positano fashion" style, the leather sandals, the colored ceramics and the typical limoncello.
Day 5 – Wednesday: After breakfast departure for Amalfi (6nm from Positano), passing near Praiano and Conca dei Marini. Brief stop to visit the marvelous Fiordo di Furore, a deep fissure in the rock at the mouth of a steep valley that plunges into the sea, which preserves a small beach with a tiny and picturesque fishing village. Here among the picturesque "monazzeni" began the stormy relationship between Roberto Rossellini and the actress Anna Magnani also known as "Nannarella" during the filming of "L'amore".
The houses, now inhabited, have been transformed into an interesting Ecomuseum.
The fjord is overlooked by a 30-metre-high suspension bridge, along which the main coastal road runs. Here, on the first Sunday of July, a high diving championship takes place. Immediately behind Capo di Conca we will be in Amalfi.
Amalfi (UNESCO World Heritage Site), one of the four Italian maritime republics, is rich in history, full of wonderful and ancient buildings and museums.
The Cathedral of Sant'Andrea in Piazza Duomo, the Basilica del Crocifisso, the ancient Arsenal of the Maritime Republic, the Paper Museum are just some of the wonders of Amalfi.
Day 6 – Thursday: In the morning we recommend taking a bus from Amalfi to Ravello. Perched on a rocky outcrop, 365 meters high, Ravello is located right in the center of the Amalfi Coast, overlooking the entire Gulf of Salerno. It is one of the most sought-after destinations on the Divine coast, due to the irresistible charm and fame that have made it famous throughout the world, a perfect combination of art and music that deserves its recognition as a UNESCO cultural heritage and the title of City of Music .
Villa Rufolo, Villa Cimbrone, Villa La Rondinaia and the famous Oscar Niemeyer Auditorium will enchant you.
In the early afternoon the catamaran will head to Sorrento, leaving the Amalfi Coast and entering the Sorrento Coast. It is about 18nm from Amalfi to Sorrento, where you can admire fantastic landscapes and swim in beautiful bays (Baia di Nerano or Marina di Puolo).
Night in the bay of Sorrento and nocturnal visit of the village.
Day 7 - Friday: moored we will take a last swim in the bay of Sorrento or we can walk around the town.
In the early afternoon, route to the base of Pozzuoli passing through the Neapolitan coast and admiring the city of Naples with its Castel dell'Ovo, the Posillipo hill and the island of Nisida.
Night in Pozzuoli Marina.
Day 8 - Saturday: Disembarkation at 09.00
