This experience, in a nutshell

Get on board with our association to spend a weekend with your friends or your family. The Gulf of Poets, in addition to the beauty of its landscapes, offers a perfect marine environment for navigation: the protected sea space inside the Gulf is wide and sailing is allowed even in the large port. The wind, especially in the afternoon, is almost always present. An ideal place to surf. But also where to enjoy the bays, the sun and the sea.

Life on board is relaxed and fun, making new friends and working together to manage common life. Who wants to can enjoy the sun and those who want to learn, will find in our skipper a valid teacher who will gladly give the helm to those who want to try their hand at it, supporting it with valuable advice. On board, everyone can freely choose whether to relax and enjoy the holiday in complete serenity, or whether to try to get in the game by experimenting with maneuvers or taking the helm (under the supervision of the skipper). Everyone is asked only to participate in the life on board, everyone as he wants and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.

Rough weekend program: The program we thought will allow you to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the Gulf of La Spezia :

Friday evening we will be boarding and accommodation in the cabins, then a brief briefing by the skipper on the life on board and the safety equipment. For dinner you will go ashore to taste the local seafood delicacies.

On Saturday morning we will sail to admire Portovenere from the sea, with the ancient church of San Lorenzo, Doria castle and the cave of Byron . Then we will visit the island of Palmaria , with its beautiful coves, where we can stop for a nice swim, the Tino islet and the small Tinetto. In the evening we will anchor in the canal in front of Porto Venere to admire all its beauty even at night.

On Sunday morning we will head to the village of Tellaro, reviewed as one of the most beautiful in Italy, and on our return we'll stop in the Bay of Lerici, which with its beautiful castle will be the setting for another regenerative stop and our lunch Alternatively, if the weather and sea conditions allow it and the guests will request it, on Saturday morning we will be able to head north and walk along the Cinque Terre which we will reach in about 3 hours of navigation. In Vernazza we could disembark with the typical Ligurian gozzo of Tonino (which will come to take us on board to accompany us to the ground), while in Monterosso it will be possible to stop at anchor for the night and go ashore with the rubber dinghy. On Sunday we will resume the sea to sail towards the return.

NB: The program may undergo variations based on the weather and sea conditions and the choices of guests on board

Too bad for the lack of wind... We had to go motor. Overall they were two beautiful days. Sandro is kind and helpful, with interesting conversations. Thank you

The itinerary is interesting and fascinating, the boat is not exactly 100% efficient due to some important deficiencies that penalized the week. Capable and competent skipper but not very empathetic. Excellent company, nice and cheerful. Overall sufficient judgment.

We have just concluded a wonderful week-long cruise with Captain Sandro, an experience that we will always carry in our hearts. Thanks to his expert guide we reached northern Corsica, visiting Capraia, Macinaggio and the charming village of Centuri: unforgettable baths, aperitifs and a sunset dinner of rare beauty, before returning to the Island of Elba due to the worsening weather conditions. What makes sailing with Sandro unique is not only the knowledge of the most authentic places, but above all his extraordinary experience. Always attentive to the weather forecast, he was able to make wise and safe decisions. Sandro in adverse weather conditions showed a cool head and competence by bringing us to safety at the port, avoiding risks for both us and the boat. With him, the sea is experienced in its beauty, but always in total safety. A true commander, in the truest sense of the word. Highly recommended for those who want an unforgettable cruise, between wonderful places and the certainty of being in expert hands.

We spent two unforgettable days on a sailboat, lulled by the sound of the waves, despite the not exactly kind weather, We breathed the essentials of an experience at sea that I would do again tomorrow. What we appreciated most was authenticity: a value that we are losing, but that here you rediscover and understand how precious it is and must be protected. We had the privilege of sharing this experience with a wonderful family, With Valentina and her boys we immediately got in tune, united by the passion for the sea. Sandro, the skipper, with his passion and experience, made everything simple and true, allowing us to experience the sea in depth, safely and without haste. The most intense emotion? The sails that swell in the wind, the silence broken only by the hull that cuts through the water, the feeling of freedom that enters you and makes you feel part of the sea. And then dinner on deck under the stars, with the distant lights of the coast and the breeze caressing the skin, while time seems to stand still. A sore point? It lasted too short! We recommend this experience to those looking for a different, intimate, regenerating and authentic weekend, to return home with a lighter heart and full of gratitude.
