Brief description of the holiday
Get on board with our association to spend a weekend with your friends or family. The Gulf of Poets in addition to the beauty of its landscapes, offers a perfect marine environment for navigation: the protected sea space inside the Gulf is large and sailing is allowed even in the large port. The wind, especially in the afternoon, is almost always present. In short, an ideal place to navigate. But also where to enjoy the bays, the sun and the sea.
General program of the weekend: The program we have created will allow you to enjoy the splendid landscape of the Gulf of La Spezia :
On Friday evening there will be boarding and accommodation in the cabins, then a short briefing by the skipper on life on board and safety equipment. For dinner we will go ashore to taste the local fish-based delicacies.
On Saturday morning we will set sail to admire Portovenere from the sea, with the ancient church of San Lorenzo, the Doria castle and the Byron cave . We will then visit the island of Palmaria , with its beautiful coves, where we can stop for a nice swim, the islet of Tino and the small Tinetto. In the evening we will anchor in the canal in front of Porto Venere to admire all its beauty, even at night.
On Sunday morning we will head towards the village of Tellaro, reviewed as one of the most beautiful in Italy, and on our return we will stop in the bay of Lerici, which with its beautiful castle, will be the setting for another regenerating stop and our lunch Alternatively, if the marine weather conditions allow it and guests request it, on Saturday morning we will be able to head north and sail along the Cinque Terre which we will reach in about 3 hours of navigation. In Vernazza we could disembark with Tonino's typical Ligurian gozzo (which will pick us up on board to accompany us ashore), while in Monterosso it will be possible to stop at anchor even for the night and go ashore with the service dinghy. On Sunday we will set sail to sail towards the return.
On board, everyone can freely choose whether to relax and enjoy the holiday in complete relaxation, or whether to try to get involved by experimenting with the maneuvers or taking the helm (under the supervision of the skipper).
Everyone is only asked to participate in life on board, as each one wants and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.
A common fund will be created on board among the guests to support the expenses of food, ports and fuel.
The activities of our association have always been guided by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, with respect for the environment to guide us. Our main fuel is wind and our energy is solar.
We will do the separate collection of waste and we will not use disposable plastic tableware.
We are waiting for you on board!
NB: The program may vary according to weather and sea conditions and the choices of guests on board

All guests are asked to participate in life on board (preparing meals and arranging the boat) in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration. A common fund will be created for guests to share the extra charges. In order to get on board you will need to have our annual membership card (for tax purposes we cannot take anyone who is not a member), so when boarding we will ask you to fill out an admission request to the association and pay the related membership fee. Our social card also includes sports insurance, in fact we are affiliated with UISP, which provides insurance coverage.
WHAT TO BRING : In the cabin you will find a blanket and pillows, remember to bring a pillowcase and sheets or "sleeping bag". Bring with you a soft bag or a backpack (not a rigid suitcase) and a pair of shoes with a clean white sole (to be worn only on board); a good sunscreen, the after sun and sunglasses (solar oil is not allowed on board), a swimsuit and a towel, but also a sweatshirt for the evening and a wind jacket.
