Brief description of the holiday
A seventh dedicated to the sea, sun, baths between Northern Sardinia (Maddalena Archipelago) and Southern Corsica (Lavezzi - Cavallo - Bonifacio - Porto Vecchio). Boarding and landing on Saturday from Cannigione (OT). We have always been sailing in this area, which we love as a second home. The itinerary will be defined by deciding together which island, beach, bay to visit or in which port to land. Besides being a wonderful area, the beauty of navigating between these islands is the possibility of always having a shelter for a swim in crystal clear water or spending a night at anchor safely. In addition to having time to relax, read and swim, it will be a pleasure to let you take the boat in the sails, teach you the values and notions of sea life. Our boat offers a lot of comfort. For guests there are four large double cabins each with a private bathroom. "The sea, once it casts its spell, keeps you forever in its web of wonder." (J. Cousteau)
Gib Sea 51 - Dufour
The Gib Sea 51 is a very solid cruise boat (without structural counter-molds) and habitable, built for charter by Dufour Yachts in France. The idea commissioned by the J & J designers was to create the most spacious cruising yacht for its size, without sacrificing good sailing performance.
Completely designed for those looking for space and comfort, the Gib Sea 51 is the only 50-footer capable of offering 5 comfortable cabins all with private bathrooms. The crew is housed in the forward cabin with its own bathroom. The double bed of the guest bow cabins can be divided into height, giving the possibility of having two separate mattresses.
The cabins and the dinette are very bright and well ventilated and the large dinette table can comfortably accommodate up to ten people. Plenty of space for the galley too.
The external cockpit is comfortable and very habitable, with a fixed table that opens, two wheelhouse aft and convenient access to the sea. The boat offers plenty of deck space for lying down and sunbathing.
The boat has very solid and robust equipment, battened mainsail, furling genoa, tanks for 1000 liters of water, 500 liters of diesel, hot water, inverter, solar panels, electric toilets, 2 fridges, bimini, sprayhood canopy, tender in short, everything you need to stay at anchor as much as you want in maximum comfort!

Other important information
The cabins are large and all have a bathroom. The crew is made up of my wife and I, housed in our forward cabin with private bathroom. Individual boarding requires a bit of adaptation but the double bow beds can be doubled in height. However, all seats will be decided together during the briefing by gender, age, couples. After having done galley we can get to know each other better in a restaurant where we eat well and spend little. On Sunday morning we set sail. The clothing must be suitable for sailing, you need fleece, light wax, hat. For sleeping find pillows, pillowcases and bottom sheet. We return to the port on Friday evening by 6 pm and a nice pizza will be an opportunity to say goodbye.
