Sunday
The appointment for the meeting is set for 10:00 at the Marina di Gaeta. After arranging the galley and the luggage in the cabins, we are ready for the first sailing of the holiday, destination: Procida! Surprisingly, we will take a swim on the high seas where the cobalt blue color will envelop us in unique sensations. Upon arrival, the colorful landscape of the Procidian houses will fill our eyes with wonder and will welcome us on a walk through its streets. We will spend the night in the harbor lulled by the waves of the sea in front of the town.
Monday
After breakfast we set sail for Ischia where a well-deserved swim awaits us in Punta Sant'Angelo, one of the most fascinating villages on the island. Oasis of peace and tranquility. After enjoying a good lunch we head towards the Aragonese Castle of Ischia with the possibility of making a splendid shore excursion. Unique viewpoints in the world, history, monuments dating back to several centuries ago, make the Castle one of the main attractions of Ischia and often hosts art and painting exhibitions, meetings and cultural events. Impossible not to see it, impossible not to visit it. We will spend the night under the castle admiring the lights reflected on the water and dreaming of ladies and knights who have passed through here.
Tuesday
After a good breakfast, we will raise anchor to head towards Ventotene, an island rich in history and uncontaminated sea and land landscapes and known to the Greeks as a "pandataria", that is, the giver of all good. Quiet, wild and far from mass tourism, the island is frequented by sailors and passing tourists, looking for a relaxing holiday that has stopped in time. Ventotene offers many sheltered beaches and coves, overlooking crystal clear waters, so much so that many are part of the protected marine area and one of these will be our destination for a nice swim. The overnight stay will be done at the marina located in the ancient Roman Port whose remains are still visible today. It is a basin dug into the tuff and a walk along the pier will allow us to notice how the tuff caves dug by the Romans now house shops, tourist offices and diving centers, while at the entrance to the port you can see the tuff caves large bollards that anchored Roman merchant ships. We will enjoy a good dinner ashore in one of the typical restaurants of the island.
Wednesday
After refueling with water and breakfast, we leave for Palmarola. We will have lunch enjoying some delicacies and spend the afternoon in total relaxation, being able to choose whether to drop anchor in Cala del Porto and why not, also at the Spermaturo rock or at Cala Brigantina, considered by many to be the most beautiful landing place in the whole Mediterranean. The sunset can then be a good reason to have a sparkling aperitif on the boat, followed by a delicious dinner. The bay will then welcome us for the night among the stars and rocking our dreams.
Thursday
Breakfast and off to discover Ponza and its beautiful bays. There are 41 km of coasts of the island and are very jagged with tuffaceous rocks, with inlets, coves and stacks. From the Roman caves of Pilate to the Faraglioni della Madonna, to the famous Chiaia di Luna, a fascinating sandy cove dominated by an imposing cliff. Or Capo Bianco famous for its tunnel and why not the Lucia Rosa beach famous for its sunsets. But still Cala Fonte, Cala Felci, Cala Gaetano, Spaccapolipo, Cala Inferno with its white wall next to the Core beach, famous for its heart drawn in the rock. We are spoiled for choice. We will then spend the night in the harbor in front of the town with the possibility after dinner to go down and enjoy the Ponza atmosphere, peeking into some small shop.
Friday
After breakfast we leave the moorings and head towards Gaeta. The sailing that awaits us will be an opportunity to learn the basics of sailing by alternating at the helm and adjusting the halyards and sheets just like a real sailing crew. We will have lunch while sailing until we reach the bay that will allow us to take a well-deserved swim. We will then place ourselves in a strategic position overlooking the Castle of Gaeta, also known as the Angevin-Aragonese, built on a rocky spur reaching out to the sea. This last evening we will dedicate it to a good dinner on the ground to tell us around a table and with a good glass of wine in hand, the experiences lived during the holiday.
Saturday
Packed your bags and drank the last coffee together we enter the port. It is now time to say goodbye, but we take home many emotions, happy moments and incredible sunsets. We say goodbye by 10 am.
