HOW TO REACH THE PORT OF EMBARKATION?
Boarding is done directly from the port of Formia (LT). Reaching the port to embark on our boats is simple:
The embarkation address is at the commercial port of Formia - Molo azzurra, Piazzale Vespucci (for info, click here! )
If you arrive by car you have 2 options:
- from Rome through the state road (1 hour and 30 min): take the via Pontina towards Latina/Terracina, continue on the coast road (via Flacca) until you reach Formia from Rome through the highway (1 hour and 20 min): take the highway A1 towards Naples, exit at Cassino and take the direction of Formia

If you arrive by train: - from Rome (Termini) by regional train (1 hour and 20 minutes): get off at the Formia-Gaeta station (the port is about 300 meters from the station) from Rome (Termini) by Intercity train (1 hour and 10 min): get off at Formia-Gaeta station (the port is about 300 meters from the station) - from Naples (central) by regional train (40 min): get off at Formia-Gaeta station (the port is about 300 meters from the station) from Naples (central) by Intercity train (30 min): get off at Formia-Gaeta station (the port is about 300 meters from the station)
If you arrive by plane to Naples or Rome: contact us so that we can organize a transfer from the airport to the port of Formia
Is it possible to leave the car in the port at the departure base? In the port area there is a very large square where you can park your car. The square is not guarded, but has a video surveillance system. The parking is about 200 meters from the embarkation point. Alternatively, it is possible to request guarded parking at a cost of €10 per day.
WHAT DOES THE FEE NOT INCLUDE?
- Restaurants on land
- Any extra nights in port (if requested by the participants)
- Transfers to and from the port of embarkation
- alcoholic beverages
* you will find the galley already placed on the boat upon your arrival; includes all meals described above and drinks on board (including water)
DOUBLE CABIN FOR EXCLUSIVE USE:
For those who leave alone it is possible to book a double bed for single use with a 75% increase in the participation fee
WHAT TO BRING ON BOARD?
On board there are sheets, towels and blankets. You'll spend most of your time barefoot and in a bathing suit, so you can travel light! You have to bring the bare essentials also because most of the time will be spent in costume. Indispensable: simple boat shoes or tennis shoes for those who don't want to be barefoot, beach towel, rubber slippers, sunglasses, non-greasy protective cream, cap, personal effects and camera, 220v mobile phone charger. Clothing: Bermuda shorts, t-shirt, polo shirt, sweatshirt for the evening or tracksuit. In any case, if your luggage weighs more than 10 kg it means that you have brought too many things and we assure you that they will not be used. It is possible indeed it is recommended to bring a mask and fins for snorkeling. 4 sets of mask masks are already on board. It is recommended to use soft bags or sacks as luggage as they are less bulky and easy to stow.
WHO CARES FOR THE GALLEY?
We take care of the galley, we have it found directly on board already arranged upon your arrival. However, you can bring some of your local delights on board to share with the rest of the group.
WHO COOKS ON BOARD?
The skipper takes care of preparing breakfast, aperitifs, lunches and dinners and tidying up the kitchen and common areas. The collaboration of the group in the management of meals and the cleaning of the common areas is always welcome! We will make simple but tasty meals and there will be no shortage of fish-based dishes based on the availability of the area. Please let us know of any serious allergies or intolerances.
WHAT ARE WE EATING?
Breakfast like lunches and dinners take place in a light way without too many commitments, and, personally, I usually prepare dishes of Mediterranean cuisine, while you are busy in your moments of relaxation. A simple breakfast such as coffee, milk and tea accompanied by cereals and jams, fish-based first courses and Mediterranean-style salads such as Greek salad, couscous, cereal salads, ham and melon and caprese, baked fish, etc. Allergies and intolerances? Intolerances on board are easily manageable with food exclusions in the preparation of food, the kitchen is equipped for the preparation of various foods but it is not a restaurant kitchen, therefore allergies especially the serious ones that seriously compromise health or even hospitalization must be submitted to the skipper at the time of booking.
WHAT DO YOU DO IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?
Imagine that you have booked a holiday in a hotel or tourist village and the weather is bad for a few days or for the whole week in the place where you are staying. Not the case with sailing as we move from island to island every day. In general, then, on the islands there is never bad weather, it can happen that we postpone the departure from the place where we are for a few hours or at most half a day. In this and other cases, the skipper will try to facilitate land excursions by bicycle, swimming in neighboring coves, food and wine or cultural visits, tours with rented scooters and many other interesting things to do. Always ask the skipper who will organize everything for you in the best possible way.
WHERE DO YOU SLEEP?
The boat offers guests 2 double cabins, 2 bathrooms (with shower) and two large double beds in the dinette. Naturally the beds in the dinette, although very large and comfortable, have the disadvantage of having little privacy, but we believe that on a 14-metre boat, where everyone becomes friends, the prerogative of privacy can be lightly bypassed.
WHAT ARE THE SKIPPER'S DUTIES?
The skipper is responsible for the safety of the crew and for running the boat, so it is always good to listen to his advice. His job does not include cleaning on board, except for external cleaning which he will do where possible every day. For cleaning, only the final cleaning is included, which will be done upon returning from the cruise. However, it is always a good thing to keep the boat tidy and clean. Where does the skipper sleep? It has its own cabin located at the stern.
CAN YOU STEERING AND PRACTICE ON BOARD?
Of course yes, always with the supervision of the commander.
HOW ARE THE CREWS FORMED?
It is not always easy to organize a group but don't worry about this, in general we always manage to form a well-assorted group by age group, for couples. We will form groups of couples, for friends always the same, ditto for singles and families with children. In case of single groups of 8/10 people you will be on a single boat.
HOW TO HAVE THE BOAT EXCLUSIVELY?
It's very simple, just form a group of 4/6/8 people who can be single friends, couples, relatives or families to have your exclusive boat with 3-4 or 5 cabins with skipper. The advantage is that you can choose to vary the itinerary as you please, always with the super vision of the skipper who knows all the islands well, the weather and the places to stop.
IS THE CRUISE SUITABLE FOR FAMILIES?
Absolutely, it represents a truly complete and exciting holiday for families and children. Generally we form groups for the same type or they are one or more families who ask us for an exclusive boat. For life on board, the skipper will help you choose the itineraries, with easy sailing between the islands, many stops for swimming in the bay, small beaches to reach with the outboard dinghy, fishing on board which amuses the children. shopping for the galley in small farmers' and fishermen's markets and in the evening moored in the port or at anchor in safe places where you can always go ashore with the dinghy to visit the islands and also go to dinner in typical places we know.
