Saturday: during the eve there is a great popular seafaring festival in a collective expectation of the encounter with the sea and the wind.
The Barcolana is not only sailing but also an explosion of events, entertainment, music, vitality and worldliness . Lots of stands where you can enjoy tasty cocktails, taste Carso and Collio wines, but also great beer and fresh spritz. Also typical local products such as fresh salami, hams and various cheeses.
Good music will be a side dish, atmosphere and company. Many local artists will take turns during the w-end.

Sunday: a regatta, a sui generis regatta : placement is not important, the important thing is to be there. And there are just everyone, the champions of sailing alongside Sunday racers, family crews or friends who measure themselves against America's Cup boats.

The Barcolana has become a "must" for sailors from all over Europe and curious about each race. It is the most participated regatta in the world: over 2000 boats.
