Brief description of the holiday
A spring weekend sailing in the Gulf of Trieste, starting from Monfalcone with destination Grado , called the island of the sun. An ancient fishing town rich in history and culture.
We will land in the small port that is located in the heart of the village, along the canal where the fishing boats are moored and we could then walk along the ancient and characteristic streets to discover the most beautiful corners and typical places where they serve the catch of the day accompanied by the excellent wines of the Collio.
The boat is a 1988 Bavaria 38 lagoon, designed for cruising but which also performs very well under sail. It is a solid and safe boat. It has three double cabins, two bathrooms, a large dinette that can be transformed into a large double bed if necessary. Opposite is the kitchen, well designed and practical. The cockpit is comfortable enough and the stern beach is excellent for going down to the sea. In recent years I have personally overseen the restyling of the boat to make it even more comfortable and safe

Monfalcone can be reached as well as by car, train or plane, Rochi dei Legionari airport. The boat is located in the Marina Ocean and can be reached by bus or taxi. If you arrive by train, by arrangement I can come and pick you up.
As always on the boat, avoid carrying suitcases or trolleys but a non-rigid backpack or bag. Given the season, also put in comfortable but heavy clothing, such as fleece and anorak or waxed jacket, glasses and hat. If you have a sleeping bag it can be useful even if the boat has a heater. Sneakers with a light sole if possible.
Attention: The boat is sanitized after each crew change by means of an ozonator. The double cabin can be shared by cohabitants and acquaintances who book together. If you are traveling alone and are willing to share a cabin with another traveler, I require you to submit a quick test with negative result done 2 days before departure.
