This experience, in a nutshell

This trip is for men and women with tough sails, or those who would like to become one. Almost 585 nautical miles have to be overcome. A couple of night trips are built into the program. Mooring is only for lunch or dinner or possible refueling and shopping. You go to your limit with a professional skipper.

But the fun factor should be maintained and your sailing experience should be expanded. Itinerary: Gibraltar - Almeria - Cartagena - Formentera - Ibiza - Palma de Mallorca.

That's 8 - 9 days. We only arrive in Palma de Mallorca on Saturday. You can still have breakfast on board on Sunday morning.

You will receive a nautical miles confirmation by email after the trip.

1 week professional catamaran training - Trogir near Split / Croatia

We had a very nice and educational week on the catamaran with Jos. Immediately after arrival we started - first with turns, then backwards and steering and finally docking. In one week we visited Milna, Vis and the beautiful town of Hvar, anchored in great bays with crystal clear water and learned all kinds of sailing maneuvers in between. Jos is very competent and brings the necessary calmness that you can do a lot on your own. We were on the catamaran with our 5 year old son and had a site completely to ourselves. But even in one of the spacious cabins, that wouldn't be a problem. The Lagoon 42 is modern, has plenty of space and each cabin has its own toilet/shower. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend Jos. After the week of training, we have the confidence to be able to charter a catamaran ourselves in the future.

The week training is very useful. Jos is a quite relaxed teacher that lets you sail and manouver the boat most of the time. The organization of the holiday and training is not perfectly clear, but that lets space for the crew to decide part of it.
