Day 3: visit of the city.
After breakfast we head to visit Casa Batlló (officially Museo modernista de Antoni Gaudí) is one of the main attractions of Barcelona and was designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí in a modernist style. Between 1904 and 1906, Gaudí converted and renovated this house, dating from 1875, for Josep Batlló i Casanovas, a wealthy textile magnate. Casa Batllo at the time consisted of eight houses, divided over four floors. The estimated present value of the colored masterpiece is around 70 million euros.
At the end of the visit ready to get on the metro and head to the sagrada familia The absolute number 1 in Barcelona is the Sagrada Familia , or sacred cathedral designed by Antoni Gaudí. The unfinished church will likely be completed in 2026 and cannot be missing from your list of things to visit. Please note that Sagrada Familia tickets are always purchased a few days in advance.
Day 4 boat trip and for those who want boat knowledge. The skipper will teach you the basics of sailing and the most important maneuvers!
In the evening I go around barceloneta. The Barceloneta district, a strip of land torn from the sea a stone's throw from the historic center of Barcelona, seems split in two. The interior is an orderly web of parallel and perpendicular alleys on which there are popular houses, once inhabited by local fishermen, and typical neighborhood bars where you can taste some of the best tapas in Barcelona and drink a cerveza in the company of friendly old people who like to chat. The waterfront is frivolous and worldly. Barceloneta beach is the place where young people go to play sports and flirt, professionals recharge their batteries after a long day of work and tourists cool off with a dip in the water after many visits to museums and monuments. You choose how to experience this neighborhood. You can go in search of the popular soul of Barceloneta in the traditional streets, bars and restaurants of the interior or indulge in fun on the beach, day and night. Or do both: nobody forbids it, you're on vacation!
Day 5 : Visit Mila 'house and Parc Guell
Casa Milà , known as La Pedrera ("quarry" in Catalan), is the last civil work by Antoni Gaudí, begun in 1906 and completed in 1912. Although Antoni Gaudí is best known for his modernist period, this work is considered "Modern". Listed on the World Heritage List in 1984, this work was, together with Park Güell and Palau Güell, one of the first sites of the industrial era to be included in the list of the most exceptional places in the world. The nickname "La Pedrera" derives from its external appearance, which sees a great use of stone, mainly for the design of the facade and balconies. is parc Güell
Parc Güell is the famous city park with its mosaics and salamanders, located in the Gràcia district of Barcelona and is certainly one of the most important attractions in the city for number of visitors and architecture. Park Güell is a city park with an area of 15 hectares. Learn more about the history and access to this famous and fairytale-like park by Gaudí.
