A holiday on a spacious and comfortable sailing boat ( in compliance with the Spanish navigation and charter safety regulations ) in the Balearic Islands where you can visit Ibiza and Formentera , going up to bays not reachable from land.
Ibiza at any time of the year is spectacular, but not least also in Formentera, and it is precisely for this reason that one can find oneself with the perplexity of deciding which of the two places to visit first.
Ibiza boasts a paradisiacal sea with a mix of spectacular colors offering great relaxation, including delicious local-style mojitos and fresh sea breezes, but thanks to the splendor of its waters and its picturesque backdrops. Formentera is the ideal place for those who love a transparent water where to bathe, dive and snorkel.
Drop your moorings and head for the Balearics!
PROGRAM
Boarding on Tuesday afternoon from 6.00 pm at the Ibiza Marina , where a welcome drink will be waiting for you : a moment to get to know us all, but above all to know the boat, especially for those who have never had a vacation on a boat.
You can reach the Marina from the airport with the Bus nr. 10 at a cost of € 3.50.
In the evening, after having taken a seat in your cabin (as indicated by the skipper) and met the other members of the crew, ready to go !!! ... evening in the narrow streets of the old town of Ibiza with a dinner of local specialties. Whoever wants, will be able to wait for the parade of discos for the city. It is always a fun show with music and dancing.
Day 2 Wednesday
After breakfast there will be a briefing with the skipper before going, all together, to do the weekly galley (food shopping and drinks). Around noon we will be ready to maneuver to leave the mooring sailing for about 10 miles towards the natural reserve of Espalmador . This island can be reached only by boat: we will find miles of totally virgin white sand beaches, without any construction, except for a watch tower, the Torre de Sa Guardiola ; so we will be in an exclusive and wild place at the same time. A dip, a walk along the beautiful white and pink beach, a visit to the salt pans and we will enjoy the first aperitif with a beautiful sunset!
Day 3 Thursday
In the morning, when we wake up, we will have our breakfast together, surrounded by an exceptional spectacle of nature. A beautiful swim in the crystal clear waters is off towards the western part of Ibiza passing through Es Vedrà , for those who reach it for the first time: the magical island! Es Vedrà is enveloped in an aura of mystery and fascinating myths and suggestive legends revolve around it: some claim that it is the island of the Sirens told in the Odyssey of Ulysses, others a remnant of the submerged civilization of Atlantis. We then continue to the Puesta del Sol, an Ibizan ritual that will remain one of the most indelible memories of the journey: the breathtaking sunset of Cala Comte , with the Conijera island as a backdrop, in one of the most beautiful chiringuites, enjoying the moito sitting on the cliff.
Day 4 Friday
Upon awakening in Cala Comte we will take the last swim in this bay before hoisting the sails towards Cala Tarida, Cala D'Hort and Cala Llentresca: away so up to Formentera passing by the red cliffs of Porroig. In the evening we will sleep in Illetes: the famous sand tongue of Formentera. The name means "beach of the small islands" and is so called because it is protected by several islets. Fine white sand, turquoise waters, totems made up of piles of stones erected by the hippies as a sign of their passage and as a good omen ... and a double sea, calm on one side, a real earthly paradise, and moved on the other, where surfers are always looking for waves to ride. Aperitif on the boat at the sunset sign and then have dinner all together ...
Day 5 Saturday
By now it's already Saturday, but we want to take you further south ... to show you one of the most suggestive bays in Formentera we go as far as Cala Saona . Even here the water is fantastic, you can see from the reflections on the hulls of the boats from a mile away. Quiet and of a heavenly beauty, the soft white sand beach offers beautiful views of Punta Pedrera and Puta Rasa and offers the possibility of beautiful walks immersed in a verdant and silent panorama. There are also sheer cliffs under which to snorkel, and here we will find the best mojito in the Balearics! The sunset on the coast is a show not to be missed: the contrast between the red color of the rocks and the intense blue of the sea, in addition to the background view of the island of Ibiza, is something truly unique in the world.
Day 6 Sunday
On Sunday we will leave for a sail around the island of Formentera passing through Escalo ' , making baths is here, and then anchoring in the evening in Es Pujols to go ashore to visit Formentera and for those who want good live music at Teatro Pereyra, the memory to take home will be even more beautiful! But even nightclubs are not lacking for those who want to make mornings!
Day 7 Monday
Departure in the morning sailing after a swim from the island of Formentera and headed to the salt pans of Ibiza for a last quick lunch all together is then off to the marina for disembarking (at about 3 pm) to visit the old town of Ibiza .
During our sailings the notions of sailing will also be interesting to be able to steer and stay a while at the winches, otherwise what sailing holiday is it?
The disembarkation is scheduled from Monday at 4:00 pm until Tuesday morning before 9:00 am.
