Brief description of the holiday
EAST-WEST Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean. It starts from the island of Tenerife to go to Martinique. ATTRACTIVE CROSSING
The Atlantic crossing is something magical and indescribable but it is not an experience for everyone. It is made of beautiful moments and indescribable sunsets, of nights under a starry sky that you will not see anywhere else, or as a bath in the middle of the ocean, but also of difficult moments due to adverse weather that may last for days, you would alone with the sea with the continuous rolling that makes it hard to do anything, no phones, no internet just the nothing around you, but when you land and land in the Caribbean by sea you would be repaid in one moment . About 20 days from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean, you will wake up in the morning, you will fall asleep in the evening, always surrounded by the sea as far as the eye can see.
Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 51
This is a particularly habitable sailboat: it has four guest cabins, each with a private bathroom, and one reserved for the crew. The two aft cabins have double beds, while in the two forward cabins the beds are bunk and can be converted into doubles.
The dinette comfortably accommodates ten people, the kitchen is like a home kitchen, with two fridges, an oven and with its U-shaped configuration is designed to cook really even in navigation. The library of the sea is available to guests, while the chart table is my private corner.
The spaces on deck are wide, comfortable and safe for movement. The aft beach is large, equipped with a shower and a ladder to go down comfortably into the sea; the bow has a comfortable and wide sunbathing area.

NAVIGATION IN OCEAN
The experience is useful, even if ocean sailing has little to do with coastal navigation in the Mediterranean. You will therefore have to be as much as possible ready to learn, even if you are ship owners, even if you have been at sea for many years.
In the Atlantic, for example, it makes no sense to make small adjustments to the sails or other racing tricks. Will it be more likely that the decisions to be taken are of the type "we shake today or we shake tomorrow?" ... But we need to be able to download and read the weather charts, to mark the ship points, to check the safety of the boat.
Boarding and disembarking can be adapted to your needs with variations of a few days without surcharges.
