Extra useful information.
The airport to be reached to embark on board is Fort de France, Martinique. You can fly (always via Paris) with Air France companies (with which you can book a single ticket from Italy) or Air Caraïbes and Corsair from Paris, that you will reach with a scheduled flight, low cost and however you like. The high season in the Caribbean runs from December to April. May and June are still very pleasant months for navigation: there are less people around and usually the weather is clement. From July to November we are officially in the hurricane season. We sail to the end of August and we take our holidays in the months of September and October, to set sail for new adventures in mid-November. It starts on a cruise boat with a light luggage, a soft bag, in short, also because very little clothing and informal need to feel good: do not forget sunglasses, strong sunscreen, cap, a pair of boat shoes and lots of good mood.
