Brief description of the holiday
Passing the Panama Canal , sailing from one ocean to another is already a unique and rare experience, then sailing to the Galapagos turns it into an unforgettable adventure.
Embark on Colon, the Atlantic side of the Canal, and, after completing the various bureaucracies, pass the first locks and then anchor in the middle of the Gatun Lake, among monkeys and crocodiles ... the day after sailing through the lake and the channels dug up to the Pacific, through two other locks.
After an obligatory visit to the city of Panama we will cross to the Galapagos Islands , a week of easy navigation. You can also participate only in part of the adventure, contact me in private for details.
The catamaran is a Nautitech 47, very spacious and comfortable boat both below deck and outside. Thanks to a large cockpit and a convenient bow net, the interior can comfortably accommodate 8 adults in double sized beds and two children or boys in a bunk bed in the bow. It has a large central kitchen, 220v current in all cabins, a 100 liters / h water maker, and a comfortable 4,20m inflatable boat, so you can always be free to choose a quiet harbor with all the comforts you could have in port...
