Istrian peninsula: magical places and ancient tones for your holidays on a sailing boat

A green peninsula just few miles away from Italian coasts, which can also be a starting point for your holidays on a boat: Istria, just few hours of navigation and you will find yourself in a new and familial dimension. Full of wonderful fishermen villages with their typical Venetian architectures and their small stonework docks. Once you’re ashore, between the many different restaurants where you can taste seafood you will be spoiled by choice.

Not to mention Piran, also known as the Saint Tropez of Adriatic sea, one of the first villages you can find coming from Italy; actually, it is still in Slovenia, but boundaries have no relevance when you’re sailing. Going down south, here you find Umag, Pore?, Rovinj and the village of Pula, with its wonderful Roman amphitheatre.

These are the last sailors that have travelled in Istrian peninsula.
