Hello and welcome!
I propose you to participate in an adventure cruise and sailing to the Isle of Wight off the coast of England.
After a crossing of the Channel, the high chalk cliffs of the Isle of Wight and the Needles Pass will be the first image that you will see. The ascent of the Solent, the arm of the sea separates the island from the English coast will leave you leisurely to appreciate the beauty of the site.
Yarmouth Village, Lymington, Beaulieu River Lift and its cottages at the water's edge are possible stops before to arrive at Cowes the "Mecca of Anglo Saxon Sailing", city of departure of the "cup of the hundred guineas" in 1851, ancestor of the cup of America, where during the famous "Cowes Week" is held dozens of regattas and thousands of boats.It attracts gratin from the couse off, and at the turn of an alley you can meet Lady Ellen Mac Arthur or Francis Desjoyeaux ...
To do: hiking on the paths of customs, along the chalk cliffs of the island and its views to cut the breath.
Day 1: Home in Granville
Ability to spend the night aboard the boat the day before. Departure the next day after delivery of the refueling. Direct route to Wight.
Day 2: Arrive at the "Needles" then Yarmouth
In the early morning, arrival on the "Needles", the famous cliffs of chalk from the entrance to the Solent, the arm of the sea that separates Wight from the English south coast. Solent ascent to Yarmouth Village, charming and colorful stopover. Practical starting point and welcoming for hikes to the chalk cliffs.
Day 3: Yarmouth / Cowes
Departure to Cowes, the "mecca" of Anglo-Saxon sailing from where you can, at leisure, watch the many regattas organized during this week by the Royal Yacht Squadron or visit Cowes, installed on the Medina River. Do not miss the shop "Beken of Cowes", the legendary specialist marine photographer local regattas for 150 years.
Day 4: Cowes / Portsmouth
Departure to Portsmouth. Arrival at noon, at the foot of the Spinnaker Tower, to visit the old town and the impressive museum where is parked the "Victory", the famous frigate of Admiral Nelson who defeated the French at "Trafalgar" in 1805. A not miss!
Day 5: Portsmouth / Beaulieu river
Bucolic lift of the Beaulieu River. Country mooring relaxing and quiet in the middle of the local fauna.
Day 6: Beaulieu river / Alderney
Departure for a new Channel to the Channel Islands, stop at Alderney, the northernmost island of Channel Islands.
Day 7: Alderney
Visit the charming village, Port Braye and tour of this island wild and lonely ...
Day 8: Alderney / Jersey
Stopover at the "so British" St. Helier for the last night. His duty-free shops, its many pubs and places festive ...
Day 9: Back to Granville after a passage to Chausey in the afternoon.

Comfortable sailboat from manufacturer Gib Sea. This model 442 with 4 cabins and 3 wcs. It is a sailboat extremely well maintained and pleasant to navigation Equipment aboard the boat: vhf, autopilot, 220v current to port. Other equipment and extras: gas cooker, equipped kitchen, teak deck. A large lounge for taking lunches and chatting around an aperitif.

Dispersion: in the afternoon, the last day in Granville.
