The Gulf of Morbihan Week is a great maritime festival that takes place in the heart of the Gulf of Mor-Bihan, small sea in Breton.
The ocean ventures in the heart of the lands towards Vannes and Auray by rias with character typically Breton. It encloses the old hills in a real archipelago: Ile aux Moines, island of Arz, innumerable islands and islets, rocky or wooded sometimes carrying a fishermen's hamlet or just swarms of birds.
Whether to discover an extraordinary geology, a grandiose spectacle or simply to know the subtleties of navigation according to currents and tides, the Gulf of Morbihan is a fantastic playground without forgetting the navigations and anchorages in the Bay of Quiberon and its islands of Houat and Hoëdic, bordered by Belle-Ile-en-Mer the aptly named.
Monohull racing race 21m, type Challenge 67, with professional crew. Built for the BT Global Challenge, crewed around the world against the prevailing winds, these large monohulls are cut for the offshore but also for coastal programs. Their large size is an asset to train and anticipate all situations at sea.
