This is a holiday dedicated to
- Sailing School
Brief description of the holiday
On the occasion of the bridge of St. Peter and Paul we offer you a sailing holiday between the Pontine Islands. Appointment in Ostia from 18.00 on Wednesdays, free indoor parking. Briefing for cabin accommodations and getting acquainted with the boat and with the main rules and safety devices, then we will moor the moorings after having dined or drank in sailing at Ponza, where we will arrive early in the morning on Thursday. Based on the forecasts we plan our destinations, choosing between Ponza, Palmarola and, if we want to sail a little more, also Ventotene. On Sunday morning at 13am, we will make a round trip to Ostia for the late evening return. The boat and its crew are waiting for you! The program is to be considered as indicative, as it is subject to the weather conditions of the time. NB: Possibility to board Ponza in the morning of Thursday 29 June.
Comet 41S - Comar Yachts
Those who attend the Roman nautical environment in general and Fiumicino in particular can not fail to know a yard that has produced excellent boats for the last few years: the Comar Yachts yard. On our Sunday outings, we could appreciate, along the Fiumicino Channel Port, the beauty of the hulls that were finished or just wrapped up and we were struck by boats that, besides being one of the most beautiful and elegant outdoors and in the interior, Racing in Italy and around the world. In our sail experience we understand that a racing boat, also used on a cruise, gives you emotions and fun that hardly a "comfortable" hull can give and we were so certain that our jewel would have a performing hull, proper equipment and that we Would have given chance for the agonistic courage. But how could we deprive our poor guests of the comfort and elegance of a great cruise ship?!? Would they ever forgive our nautical exasperations, search for "marinity," sailors, performances at all costs? At this point the choice was obligatory. We had the perfect boat under the nose. Born from the pencil of a great naval architect, Andrea Vallicelli, crafted with almost maniacal care in a limited, winning and award-winning series, beautiful comfy and elegant as a few: the Comet 41S .. THE ALLESTIMENT The boat was launched in 2012 and the first "Sea Trial" was made at the end of July. The layout chosen is of three cabins and two bathrooms. The boat is fully equipped (raft rigging, autopilot, Raymarine electronics, heating, awning, safety equipment, etc.) and we also cruise Spinnaker and Asymmetric (Code0 - A0) for navigation and recreational and didactic activities. A kit, a new 2.7 m tender. With 5 cv outboard motor. Water: 400 l. Diesel: 150 l.
