Brief description of the holiday
A wk of sea, wind and history. The destination is the seaside village of Grado, a pearl inserted in the beautiful lagoon landscape. We will welcome you in the evening of Friday with an aperitif on the boat, you will sail on Saturday morning from the port of Monfalcone with route to Venice: we can admire at the exit from the port the beautiful cliffs of Sistiana and Duino and then focus on navigation near the first dry that distinguish the Venetian lagoon and after 15 miles we moor in the mandracchio di Grado, an authentic seafaring town. To discover the Castrum constituted by a fascinating intrigue of streets and squares, the Romanesque Basilicas, the ancient town of Roman Aquileia, or the lagoon a unique natural landscape dotted with over 100 islands or the Valle Cavanata Reserve, a paradise for the birdwatching, all destinations reachable by taking beautiful cycle paths. Return with a breeze to Monfalcone on Sunday afternoons.
The Finnish shipyard Baltic Yachts needs few presentations: it represents in the leisure world what Bentley or Rolls represent in the world automotive panorama. The Baltic 43 was the second mass production model in which the shipyard collaborated with the Judel / Vrolijk studio as naval architects. At that time Judel / Vrolijk had succeeded on the scene of regattas with similar sized yachts, including the Admiral Cup competitors as Container. The Baltic 43 was developed using the experience resulting from these successful projects, combined with the well-known ability of Baltic Yachts in the construction of lightweight constructions. Detailed studies have been carried out on weight in order to establish a light, but still realistic and achievable displacement, for excellent sailing performance while still guaranteeing excellent on-board comfort during navigation and at anchor. The interior is characterized by a splendid carpentry, a large central dinette, a walled kitchen, two bathrooms and three comfortable cabins, including the shipowning one with a comfortable double bed. Every detail in the boat is aimed at the ability to navigate in comfort but just as much security. The boat is equipped with a comfortable walkway to get off the ground and a cozy and sheltered cockpit.

Other important information
Monfalcone is a few km from the airport of Ronchi dei Legionari, we are available to take care of the transfer to the boat and from the same. For those who reach us by car, in the marina you can park in a secure place. The necessary clothes are boat shoes with a smooth and light sole, a waterproof garment, hat and sunglasses, as well as the season and a protective sunscreen. A Grado for those who wish we can organize bike rides to reach Aquileia or nature reserves on safe cycling routes. Grado is equipped with a thousand good restaurants where to eat local fish; alternatively my wife can guarantee excellent boat dinners with typical dishes.
