Other useful information
From Cape Verde to Brazil sailing
Off the coast of Senegal, Cape Verde, "Small Country", independent since 1975, retains the strong footprint of Portuguese traditions.
At the crossroads of Europe, Africa and South America, we find in Cape Verde the mixed influences of the three continents and a racial and cultural mixture of great wealth. Endowed with paradisiacal beaches galore, exceptional fauna and flora and unpublished landscapes, Fernando de Noronha Island is one of the most admired places in Brazil.
The good preservation of the environment attracts nature lovers from all over the world. The island, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2002, is full of natural parks, including the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park, listed as "Environmental Conservation Area".
Nicknamed the Black Rome or the Mecca of Negritude, Salvador de Bahía has become one of the main tourist destinations in Brazil.
