An important and significant debut on sailing cruises. Cohesive and nice group. Attentive and engaging skipper. I recommend the experience at least once in a lifetime.

Alberto is a very quiet and helpful person, unfortunately, however, in 5 years of travels also made through the sailsquare platform I have to give a non-positive judgment on my experience for the first time. First of all, the person who is registered in the trips is the girlfriend who acts as a helper. It should be indicated in the holiday profile and not included among the participants since it becomes misleading to calculate the division for the expenses of the galley, ports and fuel. In addition to this, I, who was traveling alone, had to settle for my surprise to sleep in the dinette and not in the cabin because it was already occupied by the two of them. I am very accommodating but I did not consider it fair to pay the same fee as my friends who were able to enjoy a more private accommodation (also because I punctually found stuff resting on the sofa where I had left my stuff to sleep), when in other experiences the skipper has always made do in favor of the passenger. Also not very elegant was the choice to leave us alone the first night after check-in and tell us only once we were shopping (because it came to mind to ask otherwise the speech would not even come out). Too bad because with a little more foresight I would have given a better judgment. Fortunately they were pleasant days with perfect weather even if not very windy!

In just 4 days, Cyril taught us an impressive amount about sailing, sailing maneuvers and life on a sailboat in general. His pedagogy was well suited to our group who were embarking on this adventure for the first time; From the start, he gave us confidence to take things in hand. His rich experience of long-term travel, which he willingly shares, has motivated us all the more to continue this learning. Thank you Cyril!
