About me

Hello, I am a Belgian professional skipper and I have been sailing for several years in the Canary Islands, a region that I know by heart, both on land and at sea. After several jobs and adventures, I decided to train professionally so that I could properly take care of the crew and the boat and be able to take the crew with me safely. Teacher, cook, music lover, I have already taken more than 200 people on board different types of boats and I would be happy to welcome you in turn. My experience

I started sailing more than 10 years ago and have been skippering my own boat since 2012. I have sailed more than 25,000 miles as a skipper, mainly in the Atlantic (long crossings, transatlantic crossings, Cape Verde, Canary Islands, Madeira, Azores, Morocco, etc.) I was born in a town far from the coast, I studied at university, I immersed myself in the culture of the city.... And I started sailing by chance at the age of 28, but I've never stopped since.

The days spent boating with Ben were an experience hard to forget. The navigation was in the hands of a true expert sailor, generous and friendly, able to make everyone appreciate the beauty of sailing. We visited enchanting places, far from the chaos and dropped into a truly suggestive nature. The encounter with orcas was unique!! A special holiday...

Ben is a very good captain and a fine cook! He will welcome you to the pampered care of you in his very comfortable sailboat. We spent a very nice week around Lanzarote and La Graciosa with its spectacular landscapes.
