Incredible vacation!

NOT SATISFIED mainly for the following reasons: 1) Tramilte Sailquare I bought a share for Boat rental with skipper. In practice, I had the rental of the boat with a skipper, the latter did not have a contract with the owner and this infraction was ascertained by the financial report during the control of 3/9/2024. Apart from the taxation favorable to the operators, perhaps it would have compromised the validity of the insurance. 2) The management of safety on board was not optimal (no simulations or delivery of life jackets). 3) Final attempt by the owner to request an extra 20 euros/hour for engine use not mentioned on the sailsquare website. 4) it has never been possible to sail because it was not possible to open them due to a breakdown. Unfortunately, experience well below expectations. Organizer always unwilling to answer, very annoyed for any question. When we arrived on the boat we were asked to sign a lease of the entire boat (never stated or communicated before) instead of renting the cabin. This is because the skipper was not included in the boat but would have figured as one of the guests of the boat and as if he were our friend. If we had not signed, the boat would not have left so, in order not to lose the holiday, we had to sign (with an explicit request to declare falsely in the event of a check by the Guardia di Finanza). Halfway through the holiday we were stopped by the Guardia di Finanza and after a check they fined the boat because it was not used for rental with crew but only for rental (without crew). Fortunately we have not been sanctioned but paying for a service and then undergoing a financial control with irregularities seems to me really not serious. When we returned to the port we did diesel but the organizer's request was a fixed price of € 20 per hour (never specified on the site but communicated only by message just before leaving). The difference between the two amounts was about 40% more. Next time specify it on the website and above all do not waste guests' time to make diesel if the price is fixed. As for the boat in one of the rooms it rained inside on a bad weather night because the gasket did not hold, one of the bathrooms was fixed just before leaving because it did not work (with an associated loss of time), the mainsail did not open well for sailing. Having said all this, it seems clear to me that it was not a positive holiday because when one pays to be relaxed one cannot have all these thoughts. First of all, however, it is not possible to pay for a room and find yourself being FORCED to rent the entire boat. Please check that these episodes do not occur again for the next guests.

Judge for yourself: Once on board, it was asked that one of the participants, unknown to each other, sign a lease contract for the boat; also declaring, in case we were stopped by the Guardia di Finanza, that the skipper was one of the group of friends to whom we had asked to drive the catamaran. Stopped by the G.. of Finance the person who had signed was cornered and had to tell the truth, otherwise he would have been accused of declaring falsehood with criminal consequences. At the end, when the accounts were made for the payment of fuel, we were asked for the figure of 20 euros per hour of navigation, contrary to what was written on the site, where it spoke of fuel consumption consumed, with the consideration also that we could go sailing little because the mainsail was not funzionava.la difference between the two digits was one double the other. I leave out the fact that during a storm it was raining in a cabin, that the skipper slept in the discharge so we were limited in the use of the same, that the moorings were always far from the beaches.
