It was a great week! ⛵️ We sailed between Elba, Northern Corsica and Capraia. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, it was not possible to follow exactly the planned itinerary, but this did not detract from the beauty of the holiday. In fact, most of the time we were able to open the sails and fully enjoy the thrill of sailing. Francesco, the Captain, was able to involve the whole crew, transmitting his passion for sailing and making everyone part of the experience. He is a person who is very attentive to everyone's needs, competent and with great experience, but above all capable of instilling safety and harmony on board. The boat is comfortable and spacious. We spent a week between wine, laughter and sea . And there was no shortage of good food either, thanks to the luck of having missed chefs on board! A truly top crew. My experience was super positive; unlike what I read in some reviews, I highly recommend the week aboard [hidden] with Francesco.

Corsica was the planned destination, but the weather conditions did not allow us to reach it and so we stayed between Tuscany and the Island of Elba. Nothing to dispute about the choice to privilege safety: the skipper proved to be competent, prudent and attentive to navigation, and the decisions made in this sense were understandable. However, I would have appreciated a prior communication on the change of itinerary, since the evolution of the weather was already known before the start, perhaps with a short call to better manage the expectations of the group and avoid the moments of tension that inevitably arose. On a personal level, I sometimes found little willingness to confront and a certain nervousness in the face of the legitimate observations raised by some participants. Finally, the return was brought forward by a day due to bad weather. This choice is also understandable, but, considering the change of destination and the early end of the holiday, I would have appreciated some form of recognition of the difference compared to the experience initially purchased.

Bad experience, unacceptable skipper conduct and management: strongly discouraged What was supposed to be a pleasant boat holiday turned into an extremely disappointing experience, between inefficiencies, discrepancies with respect to the travel card and a skipper's management that was questionable to say the least. Itinerary turned upside down. Corsica, foreseen in the itinerary, was not reached due to unfavorable weather conditions, which is understandable and nothing to complain about, as safety comes first. The problem is that, once they stayed on Elba, the skipper seemed to have as a priority sleeping, resting and staying in port. We visited a maximum of four beaches, almost exclusively because we requested it, even on days when the conditions allowed us to go out. Boat not as described. The watermaker indicated in the voyage card was not present, with consequences on water management, and the sailor provided for in the offer was also missing. In addition, the forward cabins did not have the indicated private bathroom: the bathroom was shared between two cabins and the skipper. I also point out that we found the boat dirty. Unacceptable skipper management. The attitude towards us was often rough and unhelpful, creating an atmosphere of tension and discomfort throughout the holiday. Even more unpleasant was his personal conduct on board: the skipper spent most of his days sleeping and frequently showed up in his underwear and, on several occasions, completely naked. A situation that I found absolutely inappropriate and embarrassing, especially considering that, as a woman, I don't want to find myself having to avoid looking at the skipper naked during a holiday. Having already had several experiences on a sailing boat, I know how much the skipper can affect the quality of the trip. From personal experience, I highly recommend avoiding this – a boating holiday should be a pleasant and relaxing experience, not a constant source of discomfort and tension.

I strongly advise against this experience. The 7-day holiday turned into a highly uncomfortable experience, Inefficiencies and discrepancies with respect to the travel card: • Itinerary turned upside down: Corsica has never been reached due to unfavorable weather conditions. Unfortunately, the skipper decides and it was not possible to negotiate even a shorter stay. • Non-compliant boat: The watermaker described in the sheet was missing (which heavily affected water consumption and trip management). The figure of the sailor included in the offer is also absent. • Cabins and bathrooms: No private bathroom for the forward rooms, but a single bathroom shared between two cabins and the skipper. Management and conduct of the skipper: Despite the technical competence in driving the vehicle, human management was bad. The initial kindness turned into rough and rigid ways at every request or perplexity, generating anxiety and constant tension. The conduct on board was completely inappropriate and unacceptable for a shared space: days spent sleeping, constant presence in underwear and embarrassing situations that forced us to turn around to avoid seeing him naked. The only positive note: The exceptional understanding with the travel companions, who despite the surreal situation and the strong discomfort managed to gain strength and make the few days spent together special. Experience well below expectations and organization to be avoided.
