This experience, in a nutshell

Wild and uninhabited until 1770, in the heart of the Indian Ocean and far from any other land, the Seychelles have preserved their extraordinary beauty intact. Today half of the territory is a protected area, a record that contributes to making them among the most fascinating islands in the world.

The Seychelles represent the tropical paradise par excellence. The boat is the best way to discover them: the catamaran becomes a comfortable "floating hotel" from which to wake up and dive into a different bay every day. Experiencing the Seychelles in a flotilla is a unique experience!

We will anchor in enchanting coves, visit villages, pristine beaches and places where nature explodes in colors and scents: Sainte Anne, perfect for snorkeling; Cocos Island, with its rocks sculpted by the sea and multicolored fish; La Digue, to be explored by bike among palm trees and white sandy beaches; Praslin, covered with tropical forest and famous for some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

On board our two Lagoon 42 catamarans, the holiday follows the rhythm of the sea: breakfast in the cockpit, sailing, swimming and stops that get longer. There are those who enjoy the sun, those who lend a hand to the skipper and those who have their mask ready. The view changes, the beauty of being together remains.

Ready to go? All you need is a little spirit of adventure and love for the sea!

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PARTICIPATION FEE

In addition to what is specified in the "What's included" section, there is also an extra tax - Seychelles Tourist Tax - at a cost of €50 per person.

It is also necessary to provide cancellation, health care and lost luggage insurance. It is advisable to take out medical-luggage-cancellation insurance coverage with HeyMondo, a selected partner of Marmaglia, through which you will be able to access different policy options and freely choose the coverage that best suits your needs, including for example additional guarantees for cancellation, adventure sports, electronic devices, excess and more.

If the client decides not to activate any insurance, he accepts to assume all responsibility for any unforeseen events, waivers, medical expenses, loss or damage, relieving Marmaglia S.L. of any obligation or liability in this regard.

------------------------------------------------------------

SECURITY DEPOSIT

The boat's security deposit of € 100 per person must be paid to the skipper at the time of embarkation. Any damage not covered by the insurance, unless it is caused by the culpable inexperience of an individual, must be divided among the entire crew. In the absence of damage, the amount will be returned in full upon disembarkation.

Leg 1

DAY 1 - MAHÉ

Arrival in Mahé, the main island of the Seychelles. After boarding at the port of Eden Island, you'll have time to explore the bustling town of Victoria or relax in one of the harborside clubs. Dinner will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy Creole dishes based on fresh fish, curries and tropical ingredients.

Leg 2

DAY 2 - PRASLIN

Departure in the morning for Praslin: during the sailing, you can practice deep-sea fishing to try to catch species such as tuna or dorado. Arrival and anchorage in the roadstead at Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, surrounded by granite rocks and palm trees. In case of adverse weather conditions, the anchorage will be moved to a sheltered bay near La Digue.

Leg 3

DAY 3 - LA DIGUE

We explore the island by bike, the main mode of transportation here, to visit iconic beaches such as Grande Anse, Petit Anse, and Anse Cocos, perfect for a walk or a swim. In the afternoon, relax at Plage d'Argent, to enjoy a cocktail made with exotic fruit and local rum in a chiringuito on the beach. Night in port and the possibility to dine in a traditional restaurant with Creole specialties.

Leg 4

DAY 4 - CURIEUSE ISLAND

Sail to Curieuse Island, a national park famous for being home to giant tortoises that can live over 100 years. Walk through a path that runs through mangrove forests to the beach. In the evening, night at anchor under a starry sky.

Leg 5

DAY 5 - ST. PIERRE

In the morning, depart for St Pierre, a small islet ideal for diving and snorkeling thanks to its coral reef rich in marine life. Afterwards, arrive on Praslin and spend an afternoon relaxing on its beaches. Night at anchor, with the possibility of going ashore for an evening in the island's clubs.

Leg 6

DAY 6 - COCO ISLAND

Depart for Coco Island, another natural wonder famous for its snorkeling in crystal clear waters. In the afternoon, head to Anse La Farine, a quiet bay on Praslin. This hidden corner is perfect for watching the sunset in total serenity.

DAY 7 - SAINTE ANNE

Sail back to Mahé with a stop at the Sainte Anne Marine Park, where you can participate in an onboard cooking competition (Cooking Cup) with fresh ingredients. Marmaglia Discovery Flotilla to the Cyclades Islands in Greece

First experience on a sailing boat: a nice adventure with some ideas for improvement Since this is my first time on a sailing boat, the final balance is certainly positive. It was an enriching experience and the group turned out to be very pleasant, although there are some aspects that could make the trip even more comfortable and inclusive for the participants. Value of experience and galley management: The overall cost was a bit high compared to the services included. ( at the time of booking it must be specified that in addition to the initial expense there are other expenses, this has not been specified. For example.. fuel, water supply galley starter pack..... this is specified only once you have booked) Being at the first experience, we would have liked to have had extra support from the skipper or in any case from the organizational group at the time of the initial expense: a little advice to optimize the galley and avoid the superfluous (perhaps buying the rest gradually in the ports) would have been really useful. ( example once the excel has been filled in, the organizers with more experience than us can remove what seems extra to them ... instead of "scolding" each other because we did our own thing. Involvement in maneuvers: It is good to warn and know that it is an active holiday: even without any previous experience, you get involved and there is an absolute need to help the skipper during maneuvers and navigation, which makes you feel part of the crew but you need to be educated just in case. Group and fleet dynamics: Over half of the group already knew each other, and for those who struggle a little more to integrate or leave alone, this can create a small initial obstacle. To facilitate friendships, it would be great if the organization included more moments of sharing between the three boats, perhaps supporting them during the afternoon stops and not just the two evenings of sharing to really make the experience live as one big group. A trip that leaves a good memory and that I would do again, with the hope that these suggestions can help the organization to make the experience even more welcoming for future participants.

Marmaglia weaves similar ropes that can immediately be easily joined with a flat knot and at the end of the holiday, despite feeling a tangle of emotions, they realize that in the end they have formed a lasting knot like the lover's soda. The organization has been attentive to every detail and has been ready to update the itinerary based on the weather forecast, allowing us to experience a holiday in complete safety away from summer storms. All the staff of Marmaglia has always been ready to handle every little unforeseen event and has allowed us to experience a 10/10 holiday! Yes, you leave as strangers and you come back that you have become part of a family! Thank you Marmaglia! See you soon ☺️

Unfortunately due to Meltemi we had to totally change the initial itinerary by falling back on the Saronic islands, consequently we did not see the Cyclades at all. Apart from this inconvenience all good!
