Leg 1

Le Marin / Bequia

Your catamaran will be waiting for you at the marina of Le Marin, in the south of the island, starting at 6:00 PM. Le Marin is a quiet village located in a deep bay, lined with mangroves, dotted with rocks and islets and enclosed by a narrow isthmus that protects it from waves and winds. The first marina in the Lesser Antilles, it is the gateway par excellence for cruises to the Grenadines! Reception on board by the crew and installation in the cabin. Departure for a night sail to Bequia, following the coasts of Saint Lucia and Saint Vincent.

Le Marin / Bequia

Leg 2

Bequia

Arriving early in the morning in Bequia (pronounced Békoué), the first of the islands of the Grenadines archipelago, we make a stop at Admiralty Bay. At anchor, while the skipper takes care of the formalities, you can relax, swim, and enjoy water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddleboarding. The capital Port Elizabeth is a lively town whose bars proudly display the portrait of the Queen of England, a sign of attachment to the former colonial power. Lunch on board. Visit of the island in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board. Optional: Bequia: tour of the village by taxi, with a visit to the turtle farm, a shelter where injured turtles are welcomed before being released into their natural environment, as well as a real nursery for baby turtles. (Approx. 2h30)

Bequia

Leg 3

Bequia/Mosquito/Mayreau

Depart Bequia at 5:30 am to have breakfast in Moustique. Discover the island of the jetset, all things Hollywood and the most important princes in the world! Luxury hotels, private villas, selected bars and gourmet restaurants make up a surprisingly refined universe in the heart of the tropical paradise of the Grenadines. At anchor, after breakfast, swimming and water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. In the early afternoon we will sail to Mayreau. The island is the least populated of the archipelago, with about 300 inhabitants. The only village, reachable in less than half an hour on foot from the beach, is worth a visit for its colorful wooden houses, its bars and restaurants, its stone church erected on top of a hill from which you can enjoy a superb view of the nearby islands! Dinner and overnight on board.

Bequia/Mosquito/Mayreau

Leg 4

Mayreau/Tobago Cays

Enjoy the atmosphere of Mayreau throughout the morning. After lunch, depart for the famous Tobago Cays with its islets, lagoons and reefs crowned by the most beautiful lagoon in the Grenadines! You are truly in the heart of a tropical paradise. Relaxing day. Immerse yourself in the underwater enchantment of the coral reef, at shallow depths, swimming freely with fins, mask and snorkel. Soak up the sun on the sandy beaches. Venture out onto the deserted island's trails to discover cacti, frangipani, and other endemic shrubs. Optional - BBQ on the beach: aperitif, lobster or lambis dinner and fish depending on the season.

GRENADINES Paradise - Week on a catamaran with hostess FULL BOARD

My rating is just enough and I would actually only give it 2 stars. Unfortunately the holiday turned out to be far below expectations, the quality / price ratio is very bad. First of all, the French skipper who speaks almost no English is unacceptable with a group of guests from various nationalities. In case of emergency, the captain must know how to give clear and quick orders and he would not have been able at all. The French hostess (his girlfriend) cooked everything except "navigation" food: for the whole holiday as vegetables only two salad leaves and one evening green beans, in the first three days there was practically no fruit and in the tropics it is a must, fish eaten only twice and meat after all; he always cooked heavy lunches / dinners that did not go well with the environment and the temperature ... The answers to the various intolerances or requests for vegetarian dishes were rude and considered only sometimes. The group we sailed with fortunately turned out to be the trump card of the holiday, we were all on the same wavelength and complained about the same things. Our collective requests to stay a little longer in one place or to change times for activities have never been answered in the affirmative, revealing an excessive rigidity on the program and on the needs of the captain-hostess as a couple. Another sore point is navigation: 13 hours at night as soon as you embark and then immediately "segregated" in the cabin with the order not to leave until 6 in the morning is madness. In our group two people were sick, one of whom was in a single cabin and neither the hostess nor the captain bothered to go and check on her and give her a hand in case of need. Unfortunately, even the places visited are below expectations: obviously they are beautiful places, but as far as coral reefs and marine fauna are concerned, they are very lacking. They made us do 2-3 snorkeling in very busy places (a little bit for a week on the boat). The cleanliness left a bit to be desired and note that the cabin has to be cleaned by itself throughout the week. Basically I loved the catamaran and the holiday at sea but there were too many poor points so in the future I will definitely evaluate other destinations and modalities.

An unforgettable experience thanks also to the whole team, both organizational and on the boat. Highly recommended tour, perhaps to be tackled with a few more days on the boat to avoid long crossings back.

It was a wonderful and eventful catamaran cruise in the Seychelles with lots of snorkeling, swimming and good food. Brian, the cook and Charly, the captain, have put a lot of effort into offering us something new every day. Thank you very much for that!
