Leg 1

Poros

A must-see for all pleasure boats in the Saronic Islands, Poros is a natural port built in the narrow channel between the coast and the Peloponnese. The village is typical with a predominance of white and ochre, and extends on the slopes of a hill that slopes down to the sea. If most of the local life takes place in the port, the climb to the clock is worth it, you discover one or two typical taverns in the shade of the trees in a small square.

Poros

Leg 2

Aegina

Aegina is the island of pistachios and artists. You can walk through the typical small streets of the village or go and see the fishermen taking care of their nets along the port. Aegina is full of terraces and small traditional taverns, the perfect place to start this holiday gently. If you have time, go visit the holy sites and the ancient temple of Aphaia, or dive into the blue-green water of Sarpa Beach.

Aegina

Leg 3

Epidaurus

Located 8km east of the archaeological site of Epidaurus, this small seaside resort with its pretty typical port can only enchant you with its beaches, cafes and taverns by the water. In ancient times, the port welcomed pilgrims who came to consult the priests of the sanctuary of Asclepius, especially famous today for its theater which is one of the most remarkable sites of ancient Greece classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The large theatre, built in the fourth century BC, which can accommodate about 12000 spectators, is built with mathematical precision and an extraordinary balance that gives it almost perfect natural acoustics. At the time, it was only one of the elements of what was one of the most important sanctuaries of the ancient world, dedicated to Asclepius (the god of healing) who is considered to be the birthplace of medicine.

Leg 4

Earrings

The tiny port of Vathi is a fisherman's shelter on the west coast of the volcanic peninsula of Methana. Above the village of Kaimeni, is the volcano, which has covered much of the village with lava and ash. You can get there on foot from the port. The path to the crater, carved out of lava, offers a beautiful climbing experience. You will be able to follow the flow of lava into the sea with your eyes and enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding Saronic Islands and a spectacular sunset that paints the lava giving it a glowing appearance again. We really enjoy this place, a little away from the traditional roads.

Earrings

Leg 5

Hydra

With its village built in the shape of an amphitheatre, Hydra is a beautiful little paradise that offers visitors a journey back in time. The island is home to one of the most beautiful picturesque villages in Greece. Get lost in the cobbled streets and let yourself be seduced by the colorful buildings. The donkeys wait patiently for their loads, because Hydra has the particularity of having no cars. All life is almost concentrated around the quays with a string of cafes, restaurants and shops. The atmosphere is quite chic and trendy on this island which has seduced many artists, including Leonard Cohen.

Hydra

Leg 6

Ermioni

Ermioni is a charming little fishing village, a strip of land ending in a pine forest that juts out into the sea, which gives it an insular look. A simple, authentic village, which offers its visitors the opportunity to enjoy the sea and the sun. A lot of charm at sunset, walking among the pastel houses and swimming extra from the rocks on the peninsula south of the village.

Its simplicity and authenticity make Ermioni a hidden paradise, which will offer you the romantic magic of Greece that you have always dreamed of.

Ermioni

Leg 7

Dokos

Located a stone's throw from Hydra, Dokos is almost deserted and the spectacular bay of Skindos offers superb anchorages against a backdrop of centuries-old olive trees. The spot is ideal for diving, paddle boarding, or just enjoying the sweetness of the place, and to rest there for the night. We will anchor in the turquoise water near a beach with a small chapel and goats, as is often the case in Greece. In the evening, barbecue on the deck of the boat overlooking the sea with a breathtaking view of the sunset.

Dokos

Leg 8

Spetses

Considered the most beautiful island in the Saronic Gulf, Spetses is a stunning destination with lush landscape, traditional architecture, and crystal clear waters! The most interesting visit in Spetses is the museum of Bouboulina, the heroine of the Greek revolution who originated on the island. Visit Spetses in September for the celebration of Armata and enjoy a remarkable experience that will bring you closer to the island's long history!

Spetses

Leg 9

Agkistri

Agkistri is only an hour from Athens. Featuring a beautiful natural setting, Skala, the island's main port, offers seafood tavernas and beautiful beaches. Make a stop with your yacht in Dragonera and Chalikiada Beach and dive into turquoise and transparent waters with abundant marine life, ideal for snorkeling. On the island, you can also try activities like horseback riding or kayaking.

Sailing cruise in the Greek islands - The Saronic Islands

All the ingredients were there to have a great time. A week that I am not ready to forget, Alexandre adapted this cruise to my desires, he was also very careful to make these few days very pleasant. We agreed together on the destinations in the Saronics, I was able to discover very beautiful islands and participate in the sailings. I learned a lot, he answered my questions about the operation of a boat, even the most absurd ones... We also had a good laugh. We had interesting and enriching discussions, thank you also for that. I had a very comfortable cabin that I enjoyed returning to in the evening. A big thank you to Alexandre for his professionalism and to Bertrand the owner of the boat who allowed me to live this week à la carte. See you soon on the water and/or on dry land.

A week on a roller coaster too windy, no more wind. Mother Nature is in charge! However our skipper was really up to the situation, Alexandre is a good captain and a good GO (nice organizer) his knowledge of the islands and the people who live there adds a lot to the fun and experience. Regarding the boat, although old, it is a very good boat but unfortunately there were several small problems that did not affect our trip, we believe that preventive maintenance could be in order. Thank you again Alexandre for your Carbonaras and the typical Greek evening. Good winds from Quebec Hélène and Marc

I had a wonderful week of sailing with this team. Skipper is super cool and I enjoyed his company a lot. He was happy to customize the sailing plan according to each of our requirements and was friendly to even cook for us a few times (The pasta was delicious). Bertrand even allowed me to stay on the boat for few extra days at Aegina. However, for my bad luck, an unfriendly couple was part of the crew and they were neither willing to pay for the skipper's food, nor willing to cook which was clearly mentioned in the advertisement as the responsibility of the whole crew. Even then the skipper was cool enough to invite us all to dinner in order to build up a family feeling between the crew members. Despite all this effort, It's unfortunate to see them giving a bad review about their sailing experience here. But other than this, personally I enjoyed the whole sailing week with Bertrand and his team. I am looking forward to sail with your team in the future.

The captain (Alex) asked us to lie to the police as soon as we got there about being his friends and not chartering this boat. Something about not having a charter lisence, which made us feel very uncomfortable, even though Bertrand now denys it. The toilets stank and the shower was very uncomfortable to use, but I guess thats just how boats are. It leaked when it rained and it is fairly cramped, and we left asking why we paid that price for that boat. We didn't feel like we got value for our money at all and the organiser was very rude to us when we brought up our concerns. At least the islands were nice.
