By car:

• From Florence: Take the A11 motorway (Firenze-Mare) in the direction of Livorno and exit at Rosignano Marittimo. Continue following the signs for Rosignano Solvay and then for Porto Cala dei Medici.
• From Pisa: Take the A12 motorway (Genoa-Livorno) in the direction of Livorno, exit at Rosignano Marittimo and follow the signs for the port.
• Parking: The port has paid parking near the pier.

By train:

• The Rosignano Marittimo railway station is well connected with the main cities of Tuscany. From here, you can take a taxi or bus to Porto Cala dei Medici, which is about 3 km away.

By plane:

• Pisa Airport (Aeroporto Galileo Galilei) is the closest, about 45 minutes by car from the port. From the airport, you can take a taxi or rent a car to get to the port.

The galley, or the supply of food and drinks for the holiday, is done before leaving, generally during the morning of the day of embarkation in one of the supermarkets near the port.

For the sailing holiday, bring comfortable summer clothing, such as light T-shirts, shorts, light long trousers and a sweatshirt or jacket for cool evenings. Don't forget swimwear (at least one spare), hat, sunglasses, and boat shoes. Also bring flip-flops, sunscreen, towels, toiletries, personal medication, and a waterproof bag to protect items. Finally, a power bank for electronic devices will come in handy.

Yes, when we are trolling.

Traveling by boat is equivalent to traveling light! 

A backpack or soft duffel bag, like the ones you use in the gym, which can be folded and placed in the lockers of the cabin, is fine. It is not possible, however, to get on board with rigid suitcases or trolleys: in addition to taking up a lot of space, if they crash they could ruin the boat or hurt you. 

As with all sailing holidays, the itinerary is always subject to the marine weather and our safety. Variations are possible, in all cases I will do my best to make you enjoy the best possible experience
