Our itinerary

Sailing along the northwest coast of Sicily offers an exciting sailing adventure, with several unforgettable stops. Starting from Balestrate, equidistant from Palermo and Trapani, you will enjoy enchanting beaches and a lively nightlife. The fish festival in June is an event not to be missed, offering a delicious tasting of local seafood.

The route continues towards the historic tuna fishery of Scopello, dating back to the thirteenth century, and then through the wonderful Zingaro reserve to San Vito Lo Capo, famous for its sheltered bay and the fifteenth-century Sanctuary of San Vito. Sailing to the Egadi archipelago, consisting of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, you will immerse yourself in crystal clear waters and rich marine life.

Favignana, the main island of the archipelago, offers breathtaking landscapes and beaches such as Cala Azzurra and Cala Rossa. Visit the former Florio Factory, now the largest maritime museum in Europe, to discover the history of tuna conservation.

Levanzo, the smallest island, fascinates with its caves, including the famous Grotta del Genovese with ancient cave paintings.

Marettimo, the most remote of the Egadi Islands, presents itself as an unspoiled paradise with white cliffs and spectacular caves. A tour of the island by sailboat reveals the Camel Cave and Punta Troia with its 17th-century castle. The lack of cars creates an intimate atmosphere, allowing trekking enthusiasts to explore stony trails. The archaeological heritage of Marettimo includes the evocative site of Roman Houses, dating back to Roman times. Sailing through these islands not only offers stunning scenery but also a journey through the history, culture, and unspoiled nature of Sicily.

Avevo già fatto altre vacanze in barca a vela, ma non avevo mai trovato uno skipper eccezionale come Dario: esperto, competente, premuroso, onesto, gentile, bravissimo in cucina, ma soprattutto simpaticissimo! Esperienza indimenticabile

It was my first excursion by boat and it was an incredible experience! I can only recommend it! The landscapes are beautiful and the boat is well-maintained with enough space and a nice Skipper. ++ Dario knows a lot about the sea and his boat! He likes to share what he knows about it. He knows also when to integrate the group and when to let things happen. He likes humans and is very kind. During, before and after he was also very reachable. -- I would have appreciated more information and clarity about excursions. I added them below to help the comments readers. ?? Be aware of taking good shoes, warm clothes and a torch if you want to climb the Stromboli (which I highly recommend) There is the possibility of eating in restaurants on different islands. Being barefoot is recommended on the boat. Bring your eco-shampoo with you. The bedsheets were furnished. Hope that's help and that you will enjoy the tour!
