This experience, in a nutshell

Three days and two nights on a sailing boat departing from Marina di Cala de' Medici, to discover Capraia or the Island of Elba. The destination will be chosen according to the weather conditions to experience the best possible weekend between navigation, bays, aperitifs at sunset and nights under the stars.

Leave the routine ashore and get on board for a weekend of 3 days and 2 nights in the heart of the Tuscan Archipelago.

We will embark in Marina di Cala de' Medici on Friday evening, with accommodation on board, briefing with the skipper and presentation of the crew. From that moment the weekend will begin: few formalities, light shoes and desire for the sea.

Our destination will be Capraia or the Island of Elba, chosen by the skipper on the basis of weather and sea conditions, in order to always offer the most pleasant and safe itinerary.

During the weekend we will alternate sailing, sheltered bays, swimming in crystal clear waters, aperitifs at sunset and moments of relaxation on board. Whenever possible we can go ashore for a walk, a dinner or to discover the small villages of the islands.

You don't need to have sailing experience: those who want to can participate in the maneuvers, take the helm and learn more about sailing. Those who prefer to relax can simply enjoy the sea and life on board.

The itinerary is deliberately flexible: on a sailing boat it is the weather that suggests the best route, and it is precisely this freedom that makes each weekend different from the previous one.

This experience is ideal for those who want to meet new people, experience the sea in an authentic way and take a real break without having to take a week off.

Fun boat in sailing. Too bad for the weather conditions of the previous days that made the sea not optimal. Still pleasant experience throughout. I recommend, for the optimal training of the guest crew, to plan the mood of the experience in advance. Thanks again to skipper Nicola who made us experience the thrill of upwind ⛵😊👍🏻

It was our first time on a sailing boat and, although the weather allowed us to do only a day tour staying on the coast, it was still a new and interesting experience. I understand the fact that weather and wave conditions are not easy to predict well in advance and that no one has the power of arbitrariness of them, but we would have appreciated a more proactive attitude on the part of the skipper in managing the starts. And above all, we would have preferred more clarity from the outset on the fact that, in the event of rough seas, the journey could have been reduced to a stay in the port of Rosignano or a simple day trip along the coast, without reaching the islands. Being 9 plus the skipper, the spaces were sometimes a bit tight, especially during meals. I believe that greater attention to the organization of the kitchen, common areas and lockers could make the holiday even more comfortable for everyone. Overall it was a good experience, with some organizational aspects that, with small tricks, could be improved.
