Hello!!! I m Stergios. I have always wanted to sail around the world. This goal of mine in combination with my country’s longstanding maritime tradition as well as my interest for sailing strongly motivated me to pursue a career as a skipper. I would never change this decision. After 10 years sailing in the Greek waters Aegean sea is officially my home and the Cyclades islands my passion. I love to combine the off-shore experience with the on-shore. Sailing and Hiking is my favorite mix and Greece has plenty of it!

Having been successfully awarded the GR Offshore Sailing Certification I was fortunate enough to land a job in Mykonos, one of the world’s windiest and most challenging sailing destinations. I started from the bottom and worked my way up, learning as much as I could along the way. I worked long hours, 7 days a week, in a difficult environment. I was able not only to handle boats of any size, but also to be able to predict where damage may occur and to react quickly and effectively in dangerous situations. These new skills which I have honed along the way allowed me to successfully plan long and potentially dangerous trips. My passion for learning has seen me undertake many demanding situations, whether it was a boat transfer that no one wanted to take on, the rescue of damaged and not under command boats, or dealing with the panicked crew which has lost the vessel’s control due to the extreme weather conditions.
