Brief description of the holiday

We will sail in North-Eastern Sardinia, Costa Smeralda and Maddalena Park , enjoying extraordinary panoramas, small and large coves, white sandy bays, clear seas and wind every day ... a true paradise for lovers of the sea and sailing in particular.

The cruise itinerary will take us to navigate between the islands of the archipelago, Caprera, Maddalena, Spargi and Budelli and along the Costa Smeralda, Baia Marinella, the beaches of Cala Volpe, Pevero, Mortorio and many others.

We will spend the nights in the bay, at anchor. A technical and even a bit mundane stopover is foreseen in the small port of the island of Maddalena in the middle of the week.

Due to adverse conditions, sea and wind, the program may undergo variations in part, always guaranteeing safety for guests and the best possible itinerary.

The fee includes: skipper, dinghy with outboard, Sup, statutory insurance.
The fee does not include: galley also for the skipper, port expenses, moorings at buoys, park fee, fuel and gas. Sheets and towels on request euro 40 per cabin.

The total amount of extra expenses for the entire duration of the holiday with full crew, 6 guests, will be around 150 – 200 euros per person. They can vary slightly more or less depending on the period, July and August ports cost more than June or September.

A g_r_e_a_t relaxing holiday. Stefano is an expert skipper and I felt very secure on his spacious boat. He is friendly, welcoming and easy to get on with! He is receptive to the wishes of his crew but does not call upon them to do alot and looks after ‘setting the sails’ himself. As an English person, I found the catering unsettling : an outline menu plan (and shopping list) for the week would have helped (especially as most of the food shopping had to be done on Day 1). However, the islands of NE Sardinia make up for all of that. They offer magical, wonderful sailing water.

Stefano, with his mastery in going to sea and with his sympathy, made our holiday pleasant and relaxing. Those who wanted to practice sailing actively, or even just learn the rudiments, could do it. No problem even for those who, like me, follow non-omnivorous diets!

Do not be fooled by the appearance, behind a real sea wolf a little bear hides a very prepared captain, who teaches and guides you in the maneuvers, always willing to tell his rich past full of adventures that make you dream and even laugh. Perfect holiday in compliance with the schedule (Stefano does not promise what he is not sure to keep). Excellent companion who has found the right harmony thanks to Stefano who knows how to play and knows how to appreciate the thousand corners of paradise that reserves the north of Sardinia. Stefano is a good and experienced skipper. It could provide more information on how to behave on the boat both at the start and during the journeys. It would also be appropriate to be able to share the destinations together obviously taking into account the weather and sea variables.

Spectacular holiday thanks to Captain Stefano!!! Stefano is a great captain and a fantastic host. When there is to "make shack", as he says, he is always available but when you navigate he is super attentive, you always move safely. Stefano is a pleasant, discreet and balanced person. You have a great sense of security and run a beautiful boat - where nothing is missing - in an exemplary way, it seems that everything is simple! The tour he proposes is a dream, every five minutes you find yourself saying "How beautiful!", A magical experience with a safe and very competent person both in practical management and on a relational level. Stefano is definitely a sailor. Unfortunately, however, it involved us little in navigation operations, only when there were more stressful conditions. An initial debriefing on terms and things to do would certainly have been useful at the beginning of the holiday! Also, since we all arrived early on Friday, I would certainly have preferred to do the shopping right away so as to earn half a day on Saturday. Finally, I was a little surprised to see campari and wine finish in our absence. Despite being a humanly very genuine person and an experienced sailor, he is not the skipper I would contact again. Stefano is really a gentleman, polite and always available. A captain who transmits safety in every situation during navigation, thanks to his thirty years of experience and many trips around the world, he is also a travel companion .... beautiful evenings at anchor listening to his stories in front of a glass of rum and an enchanting panorama. The boat is very large and spacious, equipped with many tools in the kitchen, the cabins have a private bathroom, which is very rare to find on the boat. Absolutely recommended!

It was a really fun holiday thanks to both the crew and the skipper Stefano a kind, helpful and experienced person. He made us discover the beauty of sailing, of being in company and of being able to sleep / wake up in the harbor surrounded only by nature. The tour was respected compatibly with the weather which, of course, always has the last word!

Captain 110 laude???? In my opinion in previous lives he was a pirate and earned reincarnation in a sea wolf... Honored to have sailed in the shade of those sails and to have toasted on that delicious, agile and "navigated" boat!

Unfortunately the skipper a very good person, but he did not show us the coves indicated in the tour blaming bad weather. He could find alternatives and instead placed us in port 4 days. As soon as we arrived then we could do the shopping and leave and instead he forced us to do it the next day at 10 so we lost two days and we left at 12 the next day. I'm not satisfied I could go to Sardinia and take a house that would have been the same ! Nothing personal but the skipper of other holidays showed me two coves a day. In this holiday I saw two in a week not seeing the beauties of northern Sardinia!

Stefano SUPER!!! Thank you for this lovely experience captain! To be repeated!!!!! Rely on his experience and his comfortable boat without asking too many questions. just a few things, the desire to live the sea and have fun in the company .. and maybe even to learn something new. It will be fine!

Other important information

NB: Embarkation is expected on the first day after 18:00 and disembarkation on the last day before 09:00. Return to port on Friday evening at 6pm.

Recommended clothing: Headgear, goggles and protective creams, swimsuits, T-shirts, something warm for the evening, a hooded windbreaker.
Baggage: For reasons of safety and space, it is advisable to limit the baggage, to use non-rigid and foldable suitcases. No trolleys.

Galley organization: The shopping for the galley will be done together on the evening of embarkation or the following morning before leaving the port, depending on the guests' arrival times.
Before departure we will be able to speak by phone to better organize ourselves.

How to reach the port:
Ferry: the shortest route is from Civitavecchia: 300 km, reachable by fast hydrofoils in just 5 and a half hours. The port of Olbia can also be reached by ferry from Genoa, Livorno and Piombino.
Plane: Olbia airport is well served by various low cost airlines. From the airport you can reach the port by bus or taxi (10/15 min).

COVID UPDATES: The boat can accommodate eight people in addition to the crew, but also this year we have decided to embark only six guests to maintain the anti-covid protocol and therefore guarantee more space and safety for everyone and let you enjoy your holiday in the best possible way. sail boat.
