Sailing from Bergen to Oslo with Steinar was a great experience! Besides being a good cook, he has many stories to tell and likes sharing them :). He is also a man with a lot of sailing expertise and knows what he is doing. Would defenitely recommend sailing with him!

Islands at the edge of the world

Grazie ancora Britta e Marco, arrivederci a presto!

Nordic Adventure - Stage 3: Trondheim to Bergen (ALL INCLUSIVE)

I just enjoyed 2 weeks sailing in Norway. The captain and first mate have to be the most experienced sailors you will ever meet so you feel totally confident. Circumnavigators, Northwest Passage, Northeast Passage, and very pleasant, intelligent people! And the food was outstanding. What more could you ask for an adventure holiday?

The best destinations for a sailing trip in Norway

A skippered cruise in Norway is ideal for discovering islands, out of time and rich in history; an exceptional journey in the land of the Vikings.
Enjoy majestic landscapes, northern lights, intense colors during a adventure trip by sailboat.

In the land of fjords, between lakes, mountains and beaches, you will find everything that nature has to offer. Here you will breathe fresh, pure air.
Every day you will wake up to a different destination, a new panoramic view, unlikely encounters with local wildlife and a wide range of activities to experience. The coastline, fjords, and picturesque towns along the Norwegian coast are magical places to discover aboard a sailboat.

Explore Bergen, one of the pearls of Norway, the beautiful town of Brygger and take in the incredible views of Mount Urliken.
If you sail by Tromsø, you'll have the chance to see whales and boreal auras. This vacation is suitable for travelers who love the adventure travel and the navigation.

Sailing Lofoten Islands

Although they are located in the Arctic Circle, the climate is surprisingly mild. The archipelago is dominated by steep cliffs plunging into the Arctic Ocean, fishing villages nestled in coves, white sand beaches with merald waters and abundant marine life.

Bergen

Norway's second largest city, nestled between the sea and the mountains. The ancient city seduces with its beautiful wooden houses, cobbled alleys and the relaxed atmosphere of its inhabitants. The destination is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Beach of Bleik

Bleik beach is surrounded by a picturesque bay at the northern end of Andøy. Bleik is one of the best places to view the Northern Lights. The region is also known for being home to Norway's largest colony of puffins.

Stavanger

The Stavanger region has many picturesque sites, including Lysefjord, Sola Beach and the famous Preikestolen (Chair Rock). The city is also full of interesting museums and restaurants, which you can enjoy during your stay ashore.

Everything you need to know for your next sailing cruise in Norway

The best time of year to travel to Norway aboard a sailboat is May through September.

Depending on the type of boat you choose, renting a sailboat in Norway can vary in cost, but you'll find experiences ranging from €600 to €1,200 per week.

Getting to Norway is very easy from Italy, you will find direct flights from different parts of the peninsula. The cheapest way would be to take a flight to Oslo or Bergen, as international flights to other cities in the country are usually expensive.
However, it is always advisable to use a good flight comparator and book your ticket a few months in advance to find the cheapest flight possible.

The best itineraries for your next skippered sailing vacation in Norway

There are several options for sailing in Norway, and here are some of our favorite routes:

Western Norway: Sail through Norway's majestic rocky mountains and spectacular waterfalls that flow into the Northern Sea.

Northern Fjords: from Tromso, enjoy a fantastic sailing area, dotted with small anchorages, with spectacular panoramic views.

Lofoten Archipelago: Aboard a sailboat for a week's sailing from Narvik to Alesund. Scoprite la bellezza delle sue isole, di fronte ai magnifici paesaggi dei fiordi.
