About me

I worked for many years as a computer designer and ICT project manager for government agencies, but I have always practiced the sport of sailing since I was young. I have owned several sailing boats and about 5 years ago I quit my job to dedicate myself full-time to sailing. I obtained my federal sailing instructor certification over 20 years ago and have worked as a sailing instructor for young athletes as a federal technician. I have owned several sailing boats and, in the past, operated a boat rental business as a shipowner. About five years ago, I quit my job to dedicate myself full-time to sailing. I earned my federal sailing instructor certification over 20 years ago and have worked as a sailing instructor for young athletes as a federal technician.I currently dedicate myself to sailing by organizing weekly tours together with friends and recreational sailing enthusiasts.

My experience

I have been sailing for over 30 years and over time I have gained solid experience as a professional skipper on monohulls and catamarans from leading international shipyards, including Lagoon, BALI, Fontaine Pajot, Beneteau, Jeanneau and Dufour. I have worked as a charter skipper, transfer skipper and owner, sailing catamarans up to 50 feet. I have also gained experience as a skipper and owner on sailing boats, particularly Jeanneau Sun Odyssey, sailing actively in the periods 2002–2006 and 2022–2025. I have also taught at sailing schools, promotional open days and training courses aimed at obtaining a sailing licence. In addition to cruising, I have a significant sporting background, having participated in winter championships, offshore regattas, Italian J24 Class Championships and the Minitransat 650.
