Since this is my first experience on a sailing boat I would have expected, from the skipper Gaspare, a practical introduction that has never happened. It must be said that the whole holiday was made with motor access, motivated by the need to recharge the batteries. Many of the maneuvers that required our assistance have, unfortunately, fallen on one of the girls who already had extensive experience. Alternatively, the "orders" were shouted without warning expecting that it would be possible to moor or steer independently. Episode even more unpleasant to have lost an entire afternoon literally in the middle of the sea because the skipper had to say goodbye to a friend! There was no lack of positive aspects: flexibility in the dates of embarkation / disembarkation, galley included in the price, lunch always prepared by him and payment of the berth only once. All this was reproached to us at the first discussion on board, inevitable given the attitude of the skipper completely unable to listen

If you want to go sailing, you do not have to choose the skipper Gaspare. 7 days of vacation always with the engine running! It was a real shame not to have been able to enjoy the wonderful Egadi in the silence of the sails. Even more unpleasant not to have received the basics of the sailboat that a skipper should have the pleasure of sharing. It was not possible to decide in which coves to stop. It felt like joining an unsolicited guided tour. Holiday recommended for a family and not for a young group. The positive side is that Gaspare is a good person, helpful, he offered to cook, shop and thanks to his personal knowledge it was possible to stop comfortably in port for almost every night of the holiday. Surely he is an experienced skipper but he has not been able to convey the emotion of knowing how to go to sea as he has often placed himself in an unhumble way. The boat is livable but the aft cabin a bit claustrophobic.
