Grumpy, rude and unprofessional skipper. Experience that I strongly advise against. Absence of planning and respect for schedules, stages modified at the moment according to the least effort and preferences of the family in tow (partner, daughter, boyfriend and friends of the partner). Negative mood since the departure well beyond the scheduled time because it arrived late, dirty boat everywhere and neglected, already cracked cockpit table that broke in navigation, bathroom mirror found shattered in the cabin, filthy mattresses with atavistic stains, teak eroded by saltiness because it never washed and without rules of hygienic respect including drinking from the barrel bottle and cigarette butts under the table. Indications to take no more than one shower a day so as not to refuel. Salt everywhere above / below deck and pillows always wet. To use tender you had to put it in the sea and in place alone, also taking bad words. Without professionalism, restraint and respect... bad in everything! ---- ANSWER SKIPPER ---- I am sorry not to read anything about the night sailing, the sunrise that we saw admiring Montecristo, the visit to Montecristo, the beautiful sailings that took us to Corsica and Capraia and many other activities carried out.
I am sorry to have shown a character a little more angular than I really am, and it was not my intention to be rude or rude, but when I was accused by you of speculation on the costs of the boarding fee in Montecristo I felt hurt; especially because after showing you the justifications I did not even receive an apology.
You talk about "less effort", "comfortable" and "doing the bare minimum" but I woke up at 2 am to be able to be in Montecristo by the morning. I have always tried to prefer sailing over motor navigation, and this has led us to modify some stages of the itinerary initially planned. The sailing holiday is not like on a coach, with reservation stops: we chose to stop after 4 hours in Bastia and then sail to Capraia the next day.
It's true, in Salivoli I returned a little late from the previous group and to be able to leave on time I had little time to prepare the boat; at the same time you arrived in port almost two hours before the time I had communicated to you. I am very sorry for the damage to the table, which the morning after our return was repaired on site; I know it's an element of comfort, but it didn't stop us from having a sailing experience! There are no stains on the mattresses and we provide mattress covers, sheets and pillowcases. The boat is sanitized after each holiday with hydrogen peroxide. As for the external pillows, however, the signs present are often signs of saltiness: if the guests, as you have done, take a bath and sit on it it is normal that this can occur. I think unfortunately it was not the right holiday for you; mine is a more spartan holiday from certain points of view, during which I love to give priority to places, sailing and new knowledge ... perhaps at the expense of some comfort!
