First of all, it is essential to leave with a soft bag or backpack, it is not allowed to bring rigid trolleys on board. This is because once the personal belongings have been placed in the appropriate compartments, the bag will be folded and also stored, so as not to take up space. In general, it is good to think that, as far as summer holidays are concerned, you need very few items on a boat: swimsuits, summer clothes, a couple of outfits to go ashore, a few warmer items for the evening and windy days, a light windproof jacket, flip-flops and shoes to go down to port (on the boat you are practically always barefoot). For cruises in periods other than summer , it is good to bring warm clothes, a windproof oilskin, shoes with light soles to keep on during navigation, a hat and neck warmer for those who are more sensitive to the cold.
