Thanks to this holiday, my dream has come true! This was my sixth sailing holiday and the first was the one with Velasquez, I liked it so much that I recommended it to friends and for this reason I decided to do it again this year. Also this time the itinerary was splendid, the group really pleasant and Claudio, as always, professional and nice. Our boat, the Shadir (Oceanis 46 of 2011) with ten people on board, however, turned out to be a bit dated and less comfortable than the others in the flotilla. At the bow and midship there were no areas where you could lie down, making one of the most beautiful and relaxing aspects of the sailing holiday disappear, while in the cockpit there were not enough places to sit all together during meals. Inside, the dinette had been sacrificed to bed and the cabin had some small defects (portholes that did not close properly, curtains that were not very blackout). Even the bathrooms, only two for ten people, made living a little less easy. The equipment was quite basic and the chest fridge did not facilitate the management of supplies, especially in the absence of a traditional refrigerator. The difference from the other boats in the flotilla, more modern and well-equipped, was therefore felt, so much so that this almost seemed like another holiday. For those who book in the future, I recommend inquiring about the model of the boat in advance. Fair winds!
