This experience, in a nutshell

Five nights (six days) on board with time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea.

With a late morning departure on day 1 we head towards Capraia for the first night.

(Departure time can vary according to guest needs) Note all routes are dependent on the forecast and will be adjusted to best suit conditions. From Capraia we do a short hop over to Corsica for two nights, anchoring in the bays near Maccinaggio with a round trip on day 3. From Corsica we head towards the western end of Elba and a night in the beautiful bay of Fetovaia then moving along the southern coast & Portoazzurro. Returning along the eastern edge of Elba back to Cecina. Some guests enjoy the idea of an overnight crossing in which case (and conditions allowing) we often head out at the end of the evening to navigate under the stars.

Breakfast and lunches are provided on board with freshly made food covering a range of international cuisines.

There is no need for you to have experience of sailing, however if you prefer to lend a hand or learn about sailing, that is also fine.

Our itinerary

Allowing for wind and general weather conditions, the order of days may change.

This trip includes a night in Capraia, two in Corsica and two in Elba .

We depart from Cecina and head westwards to Capraia for the first overnight stop. Dinner will be had on board during our anchorage just outside the pretty town of Capraia. If all goes to plan our arrival will be early enough to allow a landing party to tour the small town.

Day 2 will be an early start as the destination is St Florent on the south western corner of the Cap Nord of Corsica, This very pretty town is well worth exploring after a stop at the beach of Lotu with its crystal clear water & white sand.

Dinners are prepared on board or guests can elect to go to a local restaurant.

Day 3 sees a return north and east back around the cape and an overnight stop in Macinaggio. Here we may stay on anchor or elect to have a night in port to refil tanks.

From there we head west to Elba for the remaining nights.

A week in the Tuscan Archipelago

What a fantastic trip! We went to Elba and had a really enjoyable time. Antony has a huge amount of sailing experience as well as a vast amount of knowledge about the area. This meant he was able to keep all our family occupied from those that sail to those that don't normally sail! We got the boat going nicely but also found time to go snorkeling with cool fish at ship wrecks. He is a good cook but also knew where the good restaurants were. Cant recommend him or sailing round Elba enough!

Io e la mia famiglia per un totale di 4 persone (2 aduti/ 1 ragazzo di 15 anni/1 ragazzina di 11 anni), abbiamo passato 5 giorni con Antony e sua moglie Miranda, tra Capraia, Corsica ed Elba. Antony è un ottimo tuttofare: cuoco, skipper, idraulico, elettricista, narratore....Impossibile annoiarsi! Colazioni e pranzi apprezzati, con Antony e Miranda che ce la mettono tutta per accontentarti, basta chiedere, e se si riesce....why not?. Dietro quella parlata italoinglese, apparentemente un pò distaccata, si nasconde invece una persona disponibile a soddisfare le richieste di chi naviga con lui. Conosce bene i posti che propone e ti fa sentire al sicuro anche in condizioni di mare agitato, grazie alla sua esperienza e alla collaudata intesa con Miranda. Questa è una vacanza all'insegna della semplicità, durante la quale ci si gode la natura, il divertimento e si ha la possibilità di ammirare il territorio e il marte da altri punti vista. Esperienza unica… Antony grande skipper e cuoco provetto ed è molto cordiale ed esaudisce ogni tuo desiderio tra quello di essere un marinaio a quello di andare con il sup tra pesci e relitti e farti rilassare con l’amaca in mezzo al mare! Stra consigliato sia il giro (arcipelago toscano e Corsica) che Antony!!

Weekend on Elba (3 days)

Abbiamo fatto un week end di 3 giorni con Antony e sua moglie... due persone squisite! Esperienza fantastica! Ci hanno coccolati ed accontentati in ogni nostra richiesta. Pranzi e cene favolose ed ottimi pancakes ai mirtilli cucinati per colazione. Un consiglio: se trovate posto, prenotate! Buon vento a tutti!
