The day is open to everyone, even those who have no sailing experience.

It is an excellent opportunity to learn or review the manoeuvres in view of longer cruises. It is also, for those who already have experience, a good opportunity to go out on a boat while having fun in company.

We will sail in a truly unique place:

We start from the mouth of the Timavo, the mythological river that, after an underground journey of about 40km, flows abundantly in S. Giovanni di Duino, in a lush natural basin already known in Roman times as Lacus Timavi.

We will be able to see the wonderful Karst  in all its wild beauty from the sea. The Škocjan Caves, due to their vastness and richness, were the filming location during the saga of "The Lord of the Rings".

We will sail in the waters where every year, in October, the largest regatta in the world takes place, the Barcolana!

We are at the watershed of three worlds, both culturally and environmentally.

The Mediterranean world, the Balkan world and the imperial Germanic world.

east, begins the rocky coast that reaches as far as Greece, while to the west, the long sandy beaches stretch all the way to Puglia!
