This experience, in a nutshell

In this mini cruise we will visit two beautiful islands of the Tuscan archipelago: Elba, the worldly one, and Capraia, the wild one.

Throughout our route we will stop in the bays that we consider the most beautiful for lunch, relaxation and swimming in the sea. Furthermore, depending on the weather conditions, a section of navigation will be at night, a magical and exciting experience.

The first day we will sail towards Rio Marina which is a pretty little tourist town, where you can breathe the authentic climate of the island. The following day we will go to the north side of the island of Elba and visit the famous beaches of Biodola and Viticcio , for the night we will be able to choose whether to anchor safely in a beautiful sheltered bay or sail a few more miles and reach Marciana Marina and then descend. ashore and visit the country.
Marciana is a charming fishing village with small and picturesque neighborhoods, narrow streets and pastel-colored houses, which has recently discovered a strong tourist vocation.

In the morning we will resume navigation with a route to the Island of Capraia . Here we will visit the most beautiful bays of the island including Mortola , famous for its crystal clear waters and full of underwater life, and Cala Rossa , a unique bay in the Mediterranean for the particular color of the rocks due to minerals.
In the evening we can enter the pretty harbor or stay at the buoys and get off with the rubber dinghy and then visit the town, which is divided into two hamlets, the very welcoming and lively marina and, further up, the real town, which is a very beautiful and well-kept village.

On the last day we will circumnavigate the island to be able to admire it from all sides and in the evening, weather conditions permitting, we will depart at night to reach Golfo Baratti . In the morning we will have breakfast in this beautiful bay, and those who wish can take a swim in the sea again, then we will reach the port of arrival for disembarkation.

On board, everyone can freely choose whether to relax and enjoy the holiday in complete relaxation, or whether to try to get involved by experimenting with the maneuvers or taking the helm (under the supervision of the skipper).

Life on board is relaxed and fun, you make new friends and work together in the management of common life.
Everyone is only asked to participate in life on board, as each one wants and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.
A crate will be created on board to support the costs of food, ports and fuel.

The activities of our association have always been guided by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, with respect for the environment to guide us. Our main fuel is wind and our energy is solar. We will do the separate collection of waste and we will not use disposable plastic tableware.

CODIV-19 EMERGENCY: to ensure maximum safety conditions on board, this year the cabins will not be shared between non-cohabiting people or couples. Furthermore, our boat is completely sanitized with ozone before each embarkation and on board you will find the hand disinfectant gel and every product useful for daily sanitation.

This year for everyone's safety, we need to check the health of all guests who will come on board. We ask those who have already had the vaccine to bring on board the certificate of vaccination issued by the health authority that administered it while for unvaccinated people, the negative result of a PCR test (carried out in the 72 hours preceding the boarding) or an antigen test (carried out in the 48 hours prior to boarding).

It will also be possible to self-administer, in the presence of the skipper, a quick test that will be provided at a cost of 10 euros to those who have neither the vaccination certificate nor the negative result of a test. In case of refusal, unfortunately, boarding will not be possible.

Magnificent weekend of sailing on the island of Elba

We spent two unforgettable days on a sailboat, lulled by the sound of the waves, despite the not exactly kind weather, We breathed the essentials of an experience at sea that I would do again tomorrow. What we appreciated most was authenticity: a value that we are losing, but that here you rediscover and understand how precious it is and must be protected. We had the privilege of sharing this experience with a wonderful family, With Valentina and her boys we immediately got in tune, united by the passion for the sea. Sandro, the skipper, with his passion and experience, made everything simple and true, allowing us to experience the sea in depth, safely and without haste. The most intense emotion? The sails that swell in the wind, the silence broken only by the hull that cuts through the water, the feeling of freedom that enters you and makes you feel part of the sea. And then dinner on deck under the stars, with the distant lights of the coast and the breeze caressing the skin, while time seems to stand still. A sore point? It lasted too short! We recommend this experience to those looking for a different, intimate, regenerating and authentic weekend, to return home with a lighter heart and full of gratitude.

We had a great time with Sandro, an excellent skipper, a very patient instructor for those who want to approach the world of sailing, a Captain with whom to feel at ease and safe. Clean and comfortable boat. Highly recommended experience! Until next time, Sandro!

Positive experience with some flaws. In fact, this amateur sports association promotes the sharing of life on the boat in unison with all the members. In reality, the skipper himself deprives guests of a freshwater shower, while enjoying it for himself, the concept of sharing is lost. Positive experience for sea, journey and cleanliness. Negative for the skipper's attitude as it was unwelcoming and helpful with respect to the needs and requirements of the guests, every request was a small problem, from disembarking with the tender in port to the denied freshwater shower and not least the constant smell of pipe both inside and outside the boat.

Shooting Star Cruise in Corsica with return at night

08/13/2023

Maria M.

Alessandro is a gentle skipper under the rind of the hard and grumpy sailor. Attentive to everyone's needs, he knows how to introduce the crew members to the authentic and essential values of the sea, sharing his skills and opening, sometimes jealously, his boat "[hidden]" to those who, like me, wanted to abandon themselves to the breeze of the wind.
