This experience, in a nutshell

You have always been told: it is not enough to get a license to know how to go boating, the captain's responsibilities are many and it is good not to underestimate them.

The goal of this 2-day intensive event is to convey all the possible experience and give the awareness that the sea must always be respected and feared. You got it right: this weekend is aimed at those who already have experience and want to gain more confidence in navigation and be able to take responsibility for the command in the shortest possible time.

We will set sail on Friday night to sail NON-STOP until Saturday afternoon even in less than perfect weather and sea conditions. On Saturday evening we will enter the port and spend the evening talking about the experience we have just had. The next morning we will set sail for Rosignano where we will arrive before 6 pm

The destination of the navigation will be decided according to the expected wind, we will always sail in maximum safety and we will set sail only if the conditions allow it and they are not truly extreme.

Leg 1

Island of Capraia

Capraia is one of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago north of the island of Elba and closer to Corsica than to Tuscany. Over the last few years, it has become a sailor's paradise. In winter there is no one, the climate is always mild and it becomes a true paradise on earth. From Rosignano it is about 30 miles of navigation to the west.

Leg 2

Island of Elba - Porto Azzurro

For many reasons it is my favorite port on the island of Elba, I have so many good memories. It is located on the eastern side and is in a deep bay that is very well covered. Perhaps the most beautiful town on the island, very welcoming and pleasant, the climate even in winter is always mild and pleasant.

Enrico is just fabulous. An expert in this particular region. I listened and learned a great deal. It's so comforting to spend time with such a flexible Skipper and a personable gentleman. Easter on the Island of Elba

Very pleasant sailing experience. The boat was in good condition. Everything went according to expectations and the navigation was safe and relaxing. The only negative note concerns the owner, Enrico. During communications he was often grumpy, with a rather rigid attitude and not inclined to confrontation. This made the interaction less pleasant, especially at times when more availability and friendliness would have been useful. Overall, I recommend the experience for the quality of the boat and the service at sea, but I suggest the owner to improve the approach with customers to make everything really impeccable.

We have just finished a week on a sailing boat and returned home with our hearts full of memories. Although bad weather forced the itinerary to be changed, the captain's skill turned a potential problem into an opportunity. We discovered unexpected and equally enchanting places, proving that adventure is not only in the destination but also in the journey. The atmosphere on board was the icing on the cake. There was a wonderful feeling among all the guests, and the evenings spent chatting and laughing under the stars were unforgettable. It was a perfect mix of relaxation, new friendships and the enchantment of the sea.
