This experience, in a nutshell

There are places where nature speaks to you, Chilean Patagonia is one of them more than any other.

The whistling wind, the glaciers collapsing into the sea, the snow, the hail, the sunlight and the flight of the condor all remind visitors that these lands welcome only those who know how to adapt. It is a powerful, wild environment, well known to the crew who travel through it with respect.

The journey begins in Puerto Williams, at the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego. From there, the sailboat heads into the famous seno of the Chilean channels, where glaciers flow directly into the sea, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and eternal snowfields. The route along the northwest and southwest arms of the Beagle Channel leads to anchorages of rare beauty: the Pia Sound with its three glaciers, Cinco Estrellas, Caleta Coloane, and other remote, little-known places.

The voyage continues toward the Wollaston archipelago, not far from the legendary Cape Horn, which will be approached only if weather conditions allow.

Daily life is marked by encounters with local wildlife—penguins, sea lions, whales, albatrosses, condors—and by the discovery of native vegetation. Whenever possible, beach barbecues are organized, simple moments that are always appreciated. Sailing takes place during the day, while nights are spent at anchor, immersed in the stillness of unspoiled nature that leaves a lasting impression.

Participants become active members of life on board, helping with maneuvers and daily tasks and sharing the rhythm and spirit of the group.

Safety remains essential: the passage around Cape Horn is attempted only in favorable conditions. Otherwise, the route continues through the sheltered, spectacular inner channels, where navigation takes place at the very foot of the glaciers.

If you want to explore the natural wonders and beauties of Patagonie on board a sailing ship with an experienced skipper, you should not hesitate to book this cruise. Besides breathtaking glaciers, waterfaslls and mountains, you will be able to see different animals such as whales, dolphins, seals, sea lions, penguins, condors, cormorants etc. The circumnavigation of Cap Horn puts the crown on it all. The trip is a unique experience that I can recommend to everyone!
