This experience, in a nutshell

Leave the coast behind and get ready to experience seven days among some of the most fascinating islands and bays in the Mediterranean.

We will leave from Marina di Cala de' Medici for a week of navigation to Capraia and Northern Corsica, crossing the Cetacean Sanctuary and alternating real sailing, swimming in crystal clear waters, aperitifs at sunset, small ports and nights at anchor under the stars.

The first stop will normally be Capraia, a volcanic island with a unique character and a natural gateway to Corsica.

From here we will cross towards Cap Corse, sailing through small seaside villages, unfrequented bays and some of the wildest landscapes in Corsica.

Depending on the wind and sea conditions, we will be able to reach places such as Macinaggio, Centuri, Saint-Florent and the Désert des Agriates, with the famous beaches of Saleccia and Lotu.

We don't want to turn the week into a race from one destination to another.

The itinerary is decided together with the skipper according to the weather conditions and the pace of the crew: the goal is to have time to sail, swim, explore and above all enjoy the trip.

On board, the day follows the rhythm of the sea.

One morning you could wake up at anchor in front of a beach that can be reached almost exclusively from the sea, the next you could enter a small Corsican port to stroll through the alleys and have dinner on land.

During the crossings it will be possible to participate in the steering of the boat and maneuvers or simply relax and enjoy the navigation.

You don't need to have sailing experience.

The experience

During the week you will be able to experience:

  • Capraia and its volcanic bays;
  • the crossing of the Cetacean Sanctuary;
  • Cap Corse and its small ports;
  • Saint-Florent;
  • the beaches of Saleccia and Lotu;
  • the Désert des Agriates;
  • sailing and life at anchor;
  • Baths, aperitifs and dinners under the stars.

Duration: 7 days / 6 nights

A deliberately different formula from the traditional Saturday-Saturday: less confusion in ports, easier travel and a whole Sunday available after the holiday before returning to the routine.

Who is it for?

This experience is designed for those who want to discover sailing without giving up moments of relaxation and conviviality.

It is ideal for those traveling alone, as a couple or with friends and want to share a week with people who share the same passion for the sea and travel.

You don't have to be a sailor. You just have to be willing to leave.

Fun boat in sailing. Too bad for the weather conditions of the previous days that made the sea not optimal. Still pleasant experience throughout. I recommend, for the optimal training of the guest crew, to plan the mood of the experience in advance. Thanks again to skipper Nicola who made us experience the thrill of upwind ⛵😊👍🏻

It was our first time on a sailing boat and, although the weather allowed us to do only a day tour staying on the coast, it was still a new and interesting experience. I understand the fact that weather and wave conditions are not easy to predict well in advance and that no one has the power of arbitrariness of them, but we would have appreciated a more proactive attitude on the part of the skipper in managing the starts. And above all, we would have preferred more clarity from the outset on the fact that, in the event of rough seas, the journey could have been reduced to a stay in the port of Rosignano or a simple day trip along the coast, without reaching the islands. Being 9 plus the skipper, the spaces were sometimes a bit tight, especially during meals. I believe that greater attention to the organization of the kitchen, common areas and lockers could make the holiday even more comfortable for everyone. Overall it was a good experience, with some organizational aspects that, with small tricks, could be improved.
