From Florence, take the A11 Firenze-Pisa towards Pisa and exit at Pisa Nord or Pisa Centro, then continue west on the local road network and on the SS1 Aurelia to reach Marina di Pisa; the distance from Florence is about 80 km with a travel time of around 1-1.25 hours under normal conditions. From Livorno take the SS1 Aurelia northbound for about 15-20 km (time 20-30 min). From Rome, take the A12/E80 northbound, exit for Pisa and follow the coastal road towards Marina di Pisa; The distance is about 280 km with a travel time of around 3 hours.

The reference station is Pisa Centrale, served by the Florence-Pisa-Livorno line and regional connections to the coast; the journey from Florence SMN takes approximately 50-60 minutes and from Livorno 15-20 minutes; Pisa San Rossore station is used for some regional stops and is closer to the seafront than Pisa Centrale; from the railway junction continue by local bus or taxi for the approximately 10-12 km that separate the station from Marina di Pisa (road transfer time 20-30 minutes).

The nearest airport is Pisa Galileo Galilei (PSA), located a short distance from the city: the road transfer to Marina di Pisa is about 12 km with average times of 15-25 minutes by taxi, airport bus or rental car; alternatively, Florence-Peretola Airport (FLR) is about 80 km away with combined train/car or road transfers of about 1-1.5 hours.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

The boat is equipped with a large matrimanial cabin in the bow that is usually assigned to a couple or to the first two reservations. Then there is another double cabin but less comfortable that is occupied by the other 2 crew members. In Dinettè there are 2 berths, one for the skipper, the other available. The internal system is always agreed between all the occupants.

Yes, it is possible to reserve a single cabin, but in this case the price is equal to that of two shares.

Generally, the participants agree on the list of food and drinks and are responsible for bringing what has been agreed on board at the time of boarding. The skipper agrees on a videoconference about a week before the date of embarkation with all participants and on that occasion defines the shopping list and the purchase methods with everyone.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.
