This experience, in a nutshell

NB: The skipper on board will be Giuseppe or one of his collaborators.

Sailing holidays in the Mediterranean Sea are a unique experience to live and offer the opportunity to discover places that are still unspoiled.

Journeys full of beautiful landscapes, countless artistic attractions and flavors, suitable for those looking for pure relaxation, for those who want to have fun or want to play sports or for those traveling with the whole family.

The Egadi archipelago, which has become the largest nature reserve in Europe, is a true natural paradise just a few miles from Marsala. Located in the western part of Sicily, it consists of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, which offer unique hiking trails and underwater archaeological sites. Rich in beaches and sea caves, they make the entire archipelago a perfect seaside destination for those who love clear and transparent waters.

It is also possible to embark the following morning.

We will decide together whether to sail to all 3 islands or to 2 islands.

The precise itinerary will be defined during the briefing before departure, taking into account the weather conditions and the wishes of the group.

Leg 1

Favignana (Italy)

Favignana is the main island of the Egadi Islands. Due to its geomorphological conformation, the island offers both beaches and caves and is the perfect destination for those who love seaside destinations, characterized by clear and transparent waters. The island consists of two main beaches: Cala Azzurra, a small sandy bay in the south of the island, and the wide beach of Lido Burrone. More spectacular and fascinating are the rocky coves of Cala Rossa and Cala del Bue Marino, characterized by tuff quarries and splendid seabeds; finally, the area of Punta Longa, Previto and Faraglioni are places where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets where the sky is tinged with wonderful colors.

Leg 2

Marettimo

Marettimo is the second largest island of the Egadi archipelago, preceded by Favignana and followed by Levanzo. Without a doubt , it is the wildest and most unspoiled of the archipelago. The caves are the main natural feature: between those above and below it, there are more than 400 of them! In particular, among the sea caves, the Thunder Cave (also known as the Nativity Cave) and the Camel Cave are worth mentioning. Due to its conformation, there are few beaches that can be reached by land; among these, however, the beautiful Cala Bianca, with its stones and its clear waters, located on the slopes of the promontory of Punta Troia.

Leg 3

Levanzo

Facing the northern coast of Favignana, Levanzo is the oldest of the Egadi Islands, as evidenced by the graffiti found in the Grotta del Genovese, and dating back to 9200 BC. The historic center lies on the shore of Cala Dogana, dominated from above by a Saracen watchtower. It is the smallest island of the archipelago and the lack of roads makes it an ideal destination for trekking enthusiasts through suggestive and not at all uncomfortable paths, to discover ancient refuges and endemic plant species.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

🌊 A dream in the waves: catamaran cruise to the Egadi 🌅 Islands A simply unforgettable experience. Sailing through the crystal clear waters of the Egadi Islands aboard an elegant catamaran was like living in a postcard: a sea with a thousand shades of turquoise, silent coves, sunsets that looked like paintings. Every day was a small gift: relaxation, laughter, discoveries. The skipper Giuseppe, always attentive and caring, made the trip even more enjoyable, guiding us with safety and human warmth. The company on board was wonderful: a close-knit, spontaneous group full of positive energy. The catamaran was impeccable: spacious, spotless and incredibly comfortable. Every detail taken care of, every moment lived with the utmost well-being. And then... food. Every meal was a surprise: delicious dishes, prepared with love by Daniele C. and with the freshest local ingredients. A real pampering for the palate. The emotions I felt on this cruise will remain in my heart: the freedom of the wind in my hair, the baths in transparent waters, the chats under the stars. An experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to those looking for beauty, serenity and a touch of magic

Thanks to Timoti, aka Captain (skipper), and Giuseppe's team for this fantastic experience. What can I say, the Egadi islands are wonderful and certainly do not need my praise. It was my first holiday at sea, and I doubt it will be my last! The catamaran was comfortable and well designed: with six people (including the skipper), you never feel cramped. Everything is functional and in very good condition — it really feels like new, or at least maintained with great care. If we want to be really picky, perhaps we could find a better way to create a little more storage/space in the sleeping cabins (for example, a shelf near the side/head of the bed of those who do not have access to the bedside table), always accepting the limitations of the structure. And for those who are new to this type of experience, it might be useful to receive the famous shopping options list in advance, so you already arrive with some ideas on the first day. It is absolutely not meant to be a criticism, but a constructive suggestion to make an already fantastic experience... even better! Special thanks to Timoti: in addition to being very nice, present, full of ideas and suggestions but always discreet and helpful, he also improvised himself as a chef, cooking real delights – from tuna tartare to an amatriciana with a bacon that cannot be explained!
