This experience, in a nutshell

Cruising aboard a 15-meter sailing yacht with skipper!

Ideal for anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the mainland on a yacht with large spaces and uncommon comforts.

We will spend the nights at anchor in magnificent bays and coves, swimming and excursions to explore the beaches and ravines of the coast; aperitifs at sunset and enchanted evenings under the stars with new friends.

The cruise includes the circumnavigation of Elba, and weather permitting we will also reach Corsica and the island of Capraia.

Our itinerary

Check-in: 9:00 AM

Our trip ends here:

Punta Ala.

Check-out: 10:00 AM

Leg 1

Monday

As soon as the galley and luggage are stowed, we sail in the direction of the Island of Elba. We pass Capo Vita which is the northernmost point of the island and head towards the Gulf of Procchio. Here we will be spoiled for choice on where to throw more, whether in Biodola, Procchio or Marciana Marina.

Leg 2

Tuesday

We set sail towards the northern coasts of Corsica, towards Macinaggio. A beautiful sail will take us near the mythical rock of Giraglia. We will stop to explore the beautiful beaches of the area such as Tamarone, Cala Genovese and Barcaggio. In one of them we will drop anchor for the night.

Leg 3

Wednesday

Heading south towards Saint Florent, even on this stretch of coast there is no shortage of options to stop for a nice refreshing swim, such as Anse d'Aliso, Plage Giottani or the Caribbean waters of Saleccia, so we will choose a roadstead to spend the night at anchor, or perhaps outside the port of Saint Florant which we can visit with a tender trip.

Leg 4

Thursday

We set sail for Capraia, an island with a wild charm where a few inhabitants and a few goats live. Emerald waters are dominated by high cliffs of volcanic origin. In the afternoon we will enter the small but cozy port for the necessary supplies and where we will spend the night. From here start the only 800 meters of paved road on the island that lead to the village, lying on the promontory, which ends at the Castle of Forte San Giorgio, a place rich in history and mysteries. An evening in the square awaits us, perhaps to the rhythm of music.

Leg 5

Friday

We set sail from Capraia and return to the shores of Elba. From afar we can admire the slopes of Monte Capanne, with a granite Pluto more than 1000 meters high that descends directly to the depths of the Tyrrhenian Sea and offers few anchors, but definitely spectacular. One is Pomonte, near the wreck of the Elviscot, a small merchant ship wrecked in 1974. It now lies at only 12 meters of seabed, with some parts rising only 2 meters from the surface. A nice sail and we reach the beach of Fetovaia. Another day dedicated to sun and bathing. Thanks to the complete absence of light pollution, the nights at anchor are an unforgettable spectacle of stars.

Leg 6

Saturday

We skirt the island on an easterly course until we arrive at the southernmost point of the island. Immediately afterwards we throw again to cool off in front of the Innamorata or Remaiolo beach. In the afternoon, after a light lunch, we head north and with a few miles we reach the enchanting and sheltered fjord of Porto Azzurro where we will throw again. Going ashore is a must, this seaside town is a little gem. Even just walking through its narrow streets is a pleasure and you can find original souvenirs. An ideal evening for a typical Tuscan dinner in one of the port's restaurants.

Leg 7

Sunday

The holiday is coming to an end. Preparations are made for the return crossing. The prevailing winds generally favor a nice sail downwind to the return port of Punta Ala. After the greetings, everyone is free for 10:00 am. See you next time and have a good return!

Ci siamo divertiti molto, seppure il meteo non sia stato a nostro favore e la rotta abbia dovuto subire delle modifiche. L’equipaggio era vario, ma sorprendentemente molto coeso! Skipper molto preciso, esperto e disponibile.
